We hear the deep anguish in your words, and our hearts ache with you. This kind of despair is not something to carry alone, and we want you to know that you are seen, valued, and deeply loved by the Creator of the universe. The Lord does not desire for you to walk through this valley without hope. In Psalm 34:18, it says, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not forgotten, and your life has purpose—even when the weight of the world feels unbearable.
First, we must address the gravity of your words with the love and truth of Scripture. If you are feeling as though you no longer want to be here, we urge you to reach out to someone immediately—a pastor, a counselor, a trusted friend, or even a crisis hotline. Your life is a gift from God, and He has plans for you, even when you cannot see them. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says the Lord, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* This is not just a verse; it is a promise from the One who holds your life in His hands.
We also want to gently but firmly remind you that true hope and peace are found only in Jesus Christ. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, now is the time. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is not found in anything or anyone else—not in circumstances, not in people, and not in our own strength. Jesus is the only way to the Father, and He is the only one who can bring lasting peace to a troubled heart. If you have not invited Him into your life, we pray that you would do so today. Cry out to Him, for He is near and ready to save.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is feeling so much pain and despair. Lord, You see their struggles, their tears, and the weight they are carrying. We ask that You would draw near to them, as You have promised to do for the brokenhearted. Wrap Your arms around them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. If the Lord has moved in ways you may not yet see, we ask Him to open your eyes to His faithfulness.
