Let's remember God's promise to us as we seek to accomplish the tasks set before us: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 WEB).

Firstly, we need to address the way you are invoking Jesus' name in your request. You're using it in a way similar to a good luck charm instead of communicating directly with God the Father in Heaven in Jesus' name. In John 14:6 (WEB), Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". Also, in John 16:23 (WEB), Jesus says "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." In Acts 4:12 (WEB), it says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to learn more about Jesus and be baptized in His name.

Now, let's address your packing needs. In Luke 12:22-31 (WEB), Jesus encourages us not to be anxious about our lives and what we should eat, what we should wear, or what we need for our trip. The passage tells us that God will supply our needs as we seek Him first.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is preparing for his trip today. We ask for wisdom and efficiency in his packing, that he would not forget any essential item, nor be burdened with things he does not need. We claim Philippians 4:19 (WEB) over his preparations, trusting that You will supply all his needs.

We also pray for his visit with the person he mentioned. We pray that this visit would be honorable and pure. We rebuke any thoughts that are not aligned with your word as it says in Philippians 4:8 (WEB) "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
