We join you in asking for extra efficiency and focus for your obligations tonight including shopping and other tasks. We know the desire to steward our time well and to accomplish what is set before us with diligence and peace.
The Scriptures encourage us to be faithful and diligent in what God has given us to do. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit Proverbs 21:5. We also are reminded to walk wisely, redeeming the time, because the days are evil Ephesians 5:15-16, and to commit our works to Yahweh, and our plans shall be established Proverbs 16:3.
We also notice your request does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through His name that we have access to God. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God, and it is through Him we can bring every need, even the practical needs of a busy evening, to the Father.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need for efficiency tonight. We ask You to grant clarity of mind, order to the steps, and strength for each task. Help to prioritize what is most important, to move without distraction or anxiety, and to complete shopping and all other obligations in a way that honors You. Grant wisdom to plan well, energy to carry it out, and peace that guards the heart. We ask that You redeem this time and let all be done for Your glory. We thank You that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us Philippians 4:13, and we trust You to provide what is needed. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to commit this evening to the Lord as you begin, perhaps making a simple list and asking Him to guide your steps. Remember not to be anxious but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. He cares about even these practical details and He delights to give wisdom and strength as we depend on Him. We trust He will help you to be efficient and to also find rest and thankfulness as you finish what is before you.

Beloved of All
It is a right and good thing to bring even the ordinary duties of this evening before the Lord, for faithful stewardship is required of us in all things. The Scripture teaches that nothing is our own, it is all our Master's, and we are to labour for good with diligence and with our whole heart. To be extra efficient is not merely to move quickly, but to redeem the time, to avoid idling or trifling or growing careless or leaving our hearts out of our work, and to do all as unto the Lord and not unto men.
You have asked for help with your obligations tonight, with shopping and other needful tasks. This is no small matter in the sight of God, for he who is faithful in little will be faithful also in much. When we remember that He will come and call us to give an account of our stewardship, we are kept from a loose and slovenly way of acting, and are stirred to do what our hand finds to do with care and purpose.
Let us pray for you.
Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou carest for Thy people in the smallest duties of life. Thou hast taught us that without Christ we can do nothing, and that through Christ who strengtheneth us we can do all things which Thou callest us to do. Grant to this dear soul tonight a clear mind, strength of body, and order in every step. Help in the shopping and in every obligation, that time may be well used and nothing wasted. Keep the heart from distraction and from weariness, and let all be done decently and in good order, to Thy honour. Give grace to work heartily as for the Lord, and to find Thy sustaining hand in these common mercies. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
