The Spirit’s fruit brings joy and peace even in trials, so we must cultivate it daily in our lives.
Strong drink destroys reputation, health, and soul, so you must turn away before it captures you completely.
Wake up your soul to praise God fully and live spiritually alert for His service.
We join with you in bringing this need before the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives and our homes and He is sovereign over all creation.
We know how distressing it is to see your home damaged by termites and by rains and moisture, and to feel helpless as storms continue. We take comfort that our God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He is the One who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth Psalm 147:8 and even the wind and the sea obey Him. Mark 4:39 tells us He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace Be still The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him Matthew 8:27. Nothing is outside His power, not the storm and not the smallest pest, and He invites us to cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7
We also remember that God often works through practical means as we steward what He has entrusted to us, so we encourage you to take wise steps as you are able, such as seeking reputable help for the termite treatment and addressing sources of moisture and drainage around the home where possible, while trusting the Lord for protection and provision for the repairs.
We pray together now for you and your home. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him. We ask for Your mercy and protection over this home. We ask that You would stop the damage from the storms and the moisture, that You would calm the weather according to Your perfect will and bring dryness and restoration where there has been rain and dampness. We ask that You would exterminate and destroy the termites that are harming this dwelling and prevent further infestation. Provide wisdom, resources, and trustworthy help for treatment and repair, and guard this household from further loss. Help our dear one to rest in Your shadow, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. Teach us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to You. Philippians 4:6. We trust Your goodness and Your power, and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear how stressful this is to have termites in your home and then to have rain and moisture making it worse. It is discouraging when your home, which should feel safe and steady, feels vulnerable to damage you can't control.
We are praying with you for protection over your home and for wisdom as you address both problems. Termites can do quiet damage quickly, and ongoing moisture can invite more trouble, so you are right to want to act promptly.
If you are able, it may help to have a licensed pest professional inspect soon to assess how far the termites have spread and what treatment is needed, and to have someone you trust look at where moisture is getting in, roof, gutters, drainage, or leaks, so the source can be addressed. If you rent, reaching out to your landlord or property manager right away can also get help in motion.
We care about you and are asking God to be near to you in this.
Father, we bring this home and this need to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your care over this house, for the termites to be stopped and removed, and for the storms to ease so no further damage is done. Provide wisdom, trustworthy help, and provision for what needs to be repaired, and give peace in the midst of this stress. Amen.

Beloved of All
We have heard your cry concerning the termites that invade your home and the storms that have brought moisture and damage, and we join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace.
It is no small trial when the very house which should be a place of refuge seems beset by corruption within and tempest without. Yet we are reminded that the eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He who once interposed a pillar of cloud to shade His people in the wilderness is still the God of the deed as well as the God of the Word, and what He says He does. The rain and the wind are in His hands, and even the smallest creature is under His sovereign eye. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are the called according to His purpose, and this is a peace breathing truth in the midst of temporal trouble.
Let us therefore not give way to fear, but trust and not be afraid. He who is at home even with despondency and with death, for He was a Man of Sorrows and acquainted with grief, is at home also in your present distress and is able to keep you and to provide for you.
Let us pray with you.
O Lord our God, our eternal refuge, we come before You through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. Look with mercy upon this home which You have given. We ask You in Your providence to stay the hand of destruction, to cause these termites to be destroyed and removed, and to preserve the dwelling from further decay. Command the rains and the storms according to Your perfect will, and grant protection from further damage by moisture and tempest. Grant wisdom for every right and diligent means to be used for repair and prevention, and provide what is needed for the work. Let Your peace, which comes from loving Your law and trusting Your Word, rule in this heart, that even in this trouble there may be resignation to Your will and confidence in Your care. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has gotten the victory for His people, Amen.

Beloved of All
Praying for this in Jesus Name.
Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your request about the termites in your home and the damage from the rains and storms, and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord.
We know how distressing it is when your home, which should be a place of peace and safety, is being harmed by what you cannot control. Scripture shows us that Jesus both allows the storm to arise so that we will seek Him, and at His voice He brings the calm and makes His power known. He is the one who is higher than all rains and storms, and He is able to give calm both around us and within us as we trust His providence.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our only Savior. You see this home and the trouble that has come upon it. We ask You to intervene against the infestation of termites, to stop their destruction, and to make a way for them to be fully removed. We ask for wisdom to find the right help and for the work of repair to be effective and lasting.
We also ask for Your mercy regarding the rains and moisture and the storms. Lord, command the winds and waters as only You can, and protect this home from further damage. Guard the roof, the walls and the foundation, and keep those who live there safe. Provide what is needed to fix what has been harmed and to prevent future harm.
In the midst of this stress, grant a quiet and steady heart that trusts in Your care. Help us to look to You, to grow in faith and patience, and to keep our lives ordered toward virtue as we rest in Your providence.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus, who is our calm in every storm. Amen.
