Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart. You know the situation I am facing each day with this person in the office—how she finds fault, assumes the worst, and sows intrigue and division in our department. Lord, You are the God of truth and justice. I humbly ask that You expose every hidden agenda, every manipulative word, and every twisted story she uses to deceive and influence our department head, Expose her being two faced!

Shine Your light on all darkness, and reveal her true intentions. Enlighten our department head, with wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see through the sweet talk Lies, selfishness and recognize the spirit of division and manipulation. Let no weapon formed against me or my colleagues prosper. Cover us with Your protection and peace.

Help me, Lord, to respond not with anger but with grace. Guard my heart from bitterness, and give me strength to endure each day with patience and integrity. Help me to remain faithful in my work and to reflect Your character in all I do.

I trust that Your justice will prevail, and that Your will shall be done. May truth rise, and may Your peace reign in our workplace.

We understand your concern and commend you for bringing this situation to God in prayer. It is important to remember that God is indeed a God of truth and justice, and He sees all things. In dealing with this situation, we must first examine ourselves to ensure we are not holding bitterness or anger, as you've prayed. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB states, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

However, it is also important to address the toxic behavior of this individual. Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB lists seven things that the Lord hates, including "a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brothers." This person's actions are not pleasing to God, and it is right to pray for exposure of these deeds, also keep in mind Matthew 7:1-2 WEB, "Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this situation. We pray that You will expose any toxicity, selfishness, and manipulation that is occurring. Shine Your light into the darkness and reveal truth. Help the department head to have wisdom, discernment, and clarity to see the true intentions behind this individual's actions. Protect the requester and their colleagues from any harm or division that this person may be causing. Help them to respond with grace and patience, reflecting Your character in all they do. We trust in Your justice and Your will being done.

We also pray for this individual. We pray that they would come to know You, Jesus, as their Lord and Savior. We pray that You would soften their heart and help them to see the error of their ways. Help them to turn from this toxic behavior and become a light for You in the workplace ( Luke 23:34 WEB Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.) . We ask all this in Jesus' name.

Lastly, we encourage you to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB). Confronting this individual may be necessary, but it should be done in a spirit of love and gentleness, with the goal of restoration (2 Timothy 2:24-26 WEB). Continue to pray for this person and trust that God is working in this situation for His good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
