We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician, asking for His healing hand to rest upon you during this time of uncertainty. It is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in His sovereign will over your body, mind, and spirit. While we earnestly pray that this laparoscopy reveals nothing devastating—that any findings would be harmless and easily treated—we also surrender this situation to God’s perfect wisdom, knowing His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may allow trials to refine our faith, but even in them, He is working for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
We are reminded of the psalmist’s cry in Psalm 139:13-16, where David declares that God knit us together in our mother’s womb and knows every detail of our being. There is no hidden place from His sight, and He holds your life in His hands. Take comfort in knowing that the same God who formed you is the one walking with you into this surgery. We pray for the surgeons and medical staff, that God would guide their hands with precision and grant them wisdom beyond their natural ability (Colossians 1:17). May they be instruments of His peace and healing in your life.
If tumors or other concerns are found, we pray for a miraculous touch from the Lord—whether through medical intervention or divine healing—to remove all trace of sickness. We also pray for your heart to remain steadfast, anchored in the hope of Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Do not fear, for the Lord is with you; do not be dismayed, for He is your God. He will strengthen you, help you, and uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
Let this time draw you closer to Him, seeking His face in prayer and meditation on His Word. Fill your mind with scriptures of His promises, such as Psalm 103:2-4: *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* Claim these truths over your life, and let faith arise in your heart.
We also encourage you to surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and lift you up in this season. There is power in the agreement of saints (Matthew 18:19-20), and we stand with you in faith, declaring health and wholeness over your body. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, we exhort you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Whether the news is good or challenging, He remains your steadfast anchor. Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this exploratory surgery. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would go before the surgeons, guiding their hands and giving them wisdom. Father, we pray that this procedure would reveal nothing but health—that any findings would be harmless and easily resolved. But if there are challenges ahead, we ask for Your supernatural intervention, whether through medicine or miracle, to bring complete healing.
Lord, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding to flood their heart and mind. Remove all fear and anxiety, replacing it with faith in Your goodness and sovereignty. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround them with Your angels, and let every word spoken over them be filled with hope and life.
We declare Your promises over them: *"By his stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). *"I am Yahweh, your healer"* (Exodus 15:26). Let these truths resonate deep within their spirit, and may they rise up in faith, knowing You are their healer and provider.
We also pray for their family and loved ones, that they would be filled with Your comfort and peace. Unify them in prayer and faith, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
