We join with you in bringing this cry for an Exodus before the Lord, and we understand the weight of what you are asking. When we hear the word Exodus we think of bondage and deliverance, of God hearing the groaning of His people and acting with a mighty hand to bring them out. We pray with you for that same deliverance for the one whose name was redacted and for all who need an Exodus in their lives, a coming out of slavery to sin, fear, oppression, or circumstance into the freedom God intends.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently and lovingly address this because it is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and also There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. The story of the Exodus points forward to the greater Exodus that Jesus accomplished for us through His death and resurrection, bringing us out of darkness into His marvelous light. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus as you bring this request to God, for He is our mediator and our deliverer.
The Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people and have heard their cry. I know their sorrows. I have come down to deliver them. Exodus 3:7-8. What comfort this is, that the God who delivered Israel is the same God who sees you now. He has not forgotten. Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still. Exodus 14:14. When the righteous cry, Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17. Even when we pass through deep waters He promises, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. Isaiah 43:2 and Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Isaiah 41:10.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that You are a God of deliverance. We lift up this need for an Exodus and we ask that You would do what only You can do. Break every chain of bondage, sin, fear, and oppression. Lead Your people out with Your strong hand and outstretched arm as You did of old. We pray that where there is slavery to sin, You would bring the freedom that Your Son gives, for If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 and Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17. We ask for Your guidance through the wilderness, for Your provision, Your presence as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, and for faith to follow You one step at a time. Let this Exodus be for Your glory and for the good of those who love You, knowing that to those who love God all things work together for good. Romans 8:28. Draw each heart closer to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord, and walk in the new life He has purchased. We ask all this according to Your perfect will, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to stay in the Word and dwell on the account of the Exodus, not just as history but as a picture of God's heart to deliver His people today. Keep crying out to Him, keep trusting in the name of Jesus, and keep walking in obedience as He leads you out. He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

It is a good thing to cry unto the Lord for an exodus, for there is no true liberty which is not preceded by a sense of true bondage, and there is no deliverance until the soul has groaned under its taskmasters and cried unto God as Israel did in Egypt.
Your prayer is heard by One who acts from good reasons, and who in His grace says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has not only invented the way, He has found the ransom and provided it in His own Son. If He who held us in bondage has found the ransom, we may be certain of liberty, for He will hold in bondage no longer those for whom the price is paid.
The going out of Israel from Egypt is a type and picture of the going out of all the vessels of mercy from the house of their bondage, the deliverance of all the lawful captives from the chains of their cruel taskmasters by sovereign and omnipotent grace. Take this as your comfort, that the Lord brings His people out of Egypt and delivers all His children from the house of bondage, not by their own strength, but by His outstretched arm. He has taught many of us the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof, and He alone can deliver from the fascinating power of sin and from the power of darkness. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and for both we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone.
Therefore we pray for you that God would be gracious unto you and keep back your soul from the pit and your life from perishing. We pray that you may know Jesus Christ as the only ransom and the only way of salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We pray that He who has delivered His people from the power of darkness would translate you into the kingdom of His dear Son, and keep you by His grace, that you may walk in His law and prove faithful.
If the Lord has chastened you sorely, remember that troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand, and even the sharpest smart is made profitable. May you be able to say with the Psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, and may your deliverance be such that you win even jewels from Egypt, learning more of Christ through your bondage and your coming out.
We entreat the Lord to bring you out fully, to separate you unto Himself, to establish you in holiness and in the historic path of His Word, wherein marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and all that pertains to it belongs within that covenant, and wherein purity and obedience are the fruit of grace. May He grant you to live not for self or for the flesh or for the customs of the world, but for Him who found the ransom and who alone can say with authority, Deliver him.
May the Lord hear your cry, may He show you the ransom, and may you go out with joy, to live to His praise and to declare His works all your days.

We have received your request for Exodus and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking for the true freedom that comes only through Jesus Christ.
We pray that all who are part of this work and all who seek help through it would know the deliverance Christ has already accomplished. Scripture says, with freedom did Christ set us free, stand fast therefore. He has paid the price for us on the cross, and we are bought with a price. That price shows us how to be free indeed, not only in outward circumstances but in the soul, made free from the dominion of sin.
We ask God to grant holiness, which is freedom from every kind of sin, and to teach hearts to love virtue. Virtue bestows true freedom and makes a person honorable even in hard conditions, not by giving mere outward release but by making the inner life rich and free in Christ. We pray that no one would turn back to the slavery from which Christ has redeemed them, but would stand firm, with courage and a clear conscience before God.
We pray for salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for He alone justifies, and for lives shaped by His goodness. Where there is confusion about marriage and sexuality, we ask for grace to walk according to God's design, that marriage would be honored as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that purity would be sought and kept within it. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we ask Him to lead all into repentance, forgiveness, and new life.
So we pray, Father, fill each forehead and heart with courage through the cross, quench anger and every passion that enslaves, and make each soul free to serve You. Keep those who seek You from vacillation, establish them in faith, and show them the better and lasting hope You have promised. Grant them to despise sin, to love what is holy, and to live as those who are Yours.
We ask this trusting in the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was led as a sheep to the slaughter for our salvation, and who alone can make us free. Amen.
