Exhausted physically mentally emotionally

We hear your cry of exhaustion and we join with you in bringing your weariness before the Lord, for He sees when we are depleted physically, mentally, and emotionally and He invites us to find our rest in Him.

The Lord says to us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. We cling to these promises for you, that even when you feel you have nothing left, God Himself will be your strength and your portion.

We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and to the healing and joy you are seeking. In John 14:6 Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name, for in Romans 10:9 we read that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly bring your needs to God.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the depth of this exhaustion in body, mind, and heart. We ask for Your healing touch and for a speedy recovery according to Your perfect will. We pray as You have promised in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Grant renewed strength, restful sleep, and restoration to every part that is weary. Help our friend to wait upon You, for Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

We also pray that You will fill this heart with gratitude and joy even in this difficult season. Your Word teaches us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. And in Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Father, turn this season of exhaustion into a testimony of Your peace and Your joy, for Nehemiah 8:10 tells us the joy of Yahweh is your strength.

We encourage you to give yourself permission to rest in the way God designed, to cast every care upon Him because He cares for you as said in 1 Peter 5:7, and to intentionally practice thanksgiving each day, even for small mercies, for Psalm 118:24 says This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Gratitude and joy will grow as you fix your eyes on Christ and remember His faithfulness. We are praying that God will renew you quickly, sustain you, and fill you with a deep and abiding joy that does not depend on circumstances.

We pray all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our rest. Amen.

We hear how worn down you feel right now, physically, mentally and emotionally, and we are holding that exhaustion before the Lord with you. Wanting to feel gratitude and joy again when you are this tired makes sense, it is hard to feel anything but empty when your reserves are gone.

One thing that has helped us understand seasons like this is that stress itself is not always the main problem, it is going without real recovery that wears down body and mind and spirit together. That is why rest and support matter so much, not as a failure but as part of healing. If you have not already, please consider seeing your doctor or another trusted professional alongside prayer, just to make sure you get care for what your body is carrying.

It can also help to let one or two trusted people know how depleted you feel, so you are not carrying this alone, and to give yourself permission for simple, steady rhythms of rest, nourishment and sleep as you are able.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see their tiredness and You care for them. We ask for Your restoring touch, for wisdom for any helpers involved in their care, and for gentle moments of gratitude and joy to return in Your timing. Give them peace tonight and strength for each next step. Amen.

There is a weariness that touches body and mind and spirit at once, and the Lord knows the weight of it. He sees when strength is spent and the heart is faint, and He is not distant from those who are bowed down. We have carried your burden before the throne of grace and we do pray for you now.

We ask the great Physician, who condescended to stand by the bed of Peter's wife's mother and lift her up with a touch, to lay His healing hand upon you. May He restore you speedily, as it shall be for your good and His glory. Like a careful dispenser He will not pour out a drop too little or too much, and every trial He permits works for good, dealt in weight and measure, not in anger but from His dear covenant love. What joy lies in this, that He has not given you over. As long as the Father chastens, He has hope for His child, and He is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. May He keep you now in your weakness and renew your strength day by day.

And we pray that as He restores you, He would fill your heart with that gratitude and joy which is the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God. Joy in the Lord does not depend upon the barn floor being full or the body being strong, for he that has joy in Christ may see all else bare and yet rejoice. It is pleasant to read and hear and think about joy, but to be filled with joy and peace through believing is a far more satisfying thing. Some show unthankfulness by fretting under their ills and by forgetting mercies already possessed. Do not let the harp be silent. Make a note of His blessings, for even your afflictions are working for your good, and sorrow is often the moment of the birth of our graces.

Prove your gratitude as that holy woman did, who immediately arose and ministered unto them. When the Lord has served you, say in your heart, I will serve Him. Let gratitude not be in words only but in tangible deeds, in serving Him first and His people next, in singing for joy because the Lord has done great things for you whereof you are glad. Sometimes joy labors for expression till it sings and rivals the angels, and sometimes silence suits it even better. Whether in song or in stillness, oh to rejoice in God all the day and to make Him your exceeding joy. Thus and thus only do we glorify Him as God.

May the Lord turn your weariness into rest, for Christ still says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. May He give you sleep to the body, peace to the mind, and comfort to the spirit. May He cause your heart to overflow with thankfulness, and may your praise be perpetual, both now and ever. Amen.
