Examples Of How Divorce Proceedings May Play Out

There is not a way to contest the divorce in many states. I am in one of those, many are. Yet I have witnessed the hand of God contest when there were no legal venues for man to do so.

I watched one play out from Ohio. The Initial divorce was filed for two years. It was totally canceled once. He filed again, and it got very interesting to watch. Just suffice it to say that the very "temperamental" judge on the case, one who is hard and just pushes things through and do not step out of line, was miraculously acting very bizarre and totaling showing favor to the stander, even bending the laws for her, leaving even the standers attorney baffled and mouth hanging open.

This judge advised them all, in a no contest state mind you, that the divorce could not be granted unless the stander agreed that she was negligent and there was incompatibility in the marriage at her fault, or the husband could prove such. ????!!!! Well of course the stander was not agreeing that she was at fault and causing incompatibility, and the husband has suddenly been forsaken by all his friends, etc.; and no one will come to court and testify in proof for him.

The stander's attorney even tried to resign from this stander's case because it was so crazy in being postponed for ????, and was postponed so much for nothing by this judge that the stander exceeded her money paid and can not pay any more. He resigned, the stander showed up in court attorney-less and thinking this had to be it, she was toast, and this judge got mad, postponed again and ordered the attorney back on her case without pay. It was very interesting to say the least.

I also have bore witness to two such happenings in Mo, a no contest state. You file for divorce here in Missouri, thirty days and it is over, agreeable or not. But a sister at church has prayed two divorces out, them getting postponed here for two years and then canceled and the couples restored, and then the one couple became youth pastors after restoration (they were unbelievers before this).

And as for me, my husband filed divorce against me also, and I literally refused the package, even took those papers to my church and laid them on the altar and loudly declared to Satan that I was not accepting them and he had to give them to my daddy, that nothing comes to me that does not go through my daddy first. I left them there on that altar, my faith of truly handing it over to God and walking away from it. Two weeks before it was due to be final my husband came home and canceled the divorce. We picked up the papers from the altar together and destroyed them.

Then some God allows the divorce to go through, but if that happens it is part of the plan God has for bringing the spouse home. Sometimes the divorce itself breaks them. Divorce by man is not divorce by God. Man created marriage certificates and divorce certificates for their vital statistic counts. Marriage is not a piece of paper, it is a covenant vow before God. No one can break that vow and mans piece of vital statistic paper definitely does not break that vow.

Man's divorce is not God's divorce. Some deceived persons just think it is and think they are really free when they are not, and therefore go forth straight into the pig pen of life where eventually they wake up and reach back out to God. Then they come home. This can happen before man's divorce or after, but it happens. There is no peace in the life of a person who breaks a vow to God, covenants are binding and there is wrath and suffering when one tries to escape it. That is of God and that is the way it is for the prodigals.

I pray that you don't back down from the promises of God for anything, because God never lies and never fails. Sometimes He takes what to us seems like a detour, but He knows the perfect direction to get to the promised designation. He knows exactly how to perform His promises.

God bless you. Look around and read other posts here, you may find things that are very helpful to you.
