We stand with you in this moment of anxiety and uncertainty, lifting your heart and mind before the Lord. It is natural to feel nervous before an important exam, but we know that God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that He calms your heart and steadies your mind as you prepare to demonstrate the knowledge He has already placed within you.
Father in Heaven, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, asking that You grant her clarity of thought and recall of all she has studied. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, we ask that You pour out Your wisdom upon her as she takes this exam. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You hold her future and have equipped her for this very moment.
We also pray for peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). Anxiety can cloud our thinking, but You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You still every fear and replace it with confidence in Your provision. Remind her that her worth is not defined by a grade but by the love You have for her as Your child.
We encourage you to lean on Proverbs 3:5-6 as you walk into this exam: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God has brought you this far, and He will not abandon you now. Rest in His promises and do your best, knowing that He is with you.
Lord, we also ask that You bless her efforts and grant her success according to Your will. Whether the outcome is a B or higher, we pray that she feels Your presence and peace throughout this process. Help her to see this exam as an opportunity to glorify You and to grow in her faith and discipline.
We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she will walk in the victory You have already secured for her. May she feel the strength of the Holy Spirit guiding her, and may she emerge from this exam with a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
