Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the dangerous ex neighbor who has been trying to reenter your family's life through your mother, and the attempt to lure you to her house, and the other neighbor who helped bring this person back after a long time of peace.
We have continued to bring your requests before the Lord. We have prayed that God would put a stop to these schemes and build a hedge of protection around you and your family, and that He would thwart any plan of the enemy to target you during this season when your faith feels strained. We have prayed Psalm 91:1 over your household and asked the Lord to give you discernment and peace as you navigate difficult neighbors, even as you are thankful for where you live.
We have also lifted up your mother to the Lord, that God would grant her wisdom and clarity where she has been gullible and stubborn, and that He would guard her from being used to open doors that should remain closed. We have prayed for your heart as you carry resentment and exhaustion from caring for your parents alone without help, and for the burden you feel because your oldest sister does not help. We have asked God to give you strength and grace to continue to honor your parents while also establishing healthy boundaries, and to bear you up as you cast your cares on Him according to 1 Peter 5:7. We have prayed that He would soften resentment with His peace and renew your faith, and that He would provide support and rest where you feel isolated, reminding you that He is faithful to guard you from evil as promised in 2 Thess 3:3.
If the Lord intervened and blocked that visit or has brought quiet and protection to your family and to your relationship with your mother, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and you are still facing pressure from this ex neighbor, still dealing with difficult neighbors, or still feeling overwhelmed and alone in caregiving, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
We are standing with you and we pray that God will give you wisdom as in James 1:5, comfort you in your struggle, and draw you ever closer to Him. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name.
