We join with you in lifting up your ex and his loved ones before the throne of grace, and we are encouraged by your compassionate heart that desires their salvation and well being, for this reflects the heart of God.
We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God and that anyone can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If anyone confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that God raised him from the dead, they will be saved. Romans 10:9 This is the good news we pray your ex and his loved ones will hear and receive, that by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ they may have forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
We also want to encourage you regarding this past relationship. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman as God designed, and that courtship should be entered with the goal of finding a godly spouse who is a fellow believer in Christ. If there was any intimacy outside of marriage in that relationship, the Bible calls it fornication and we would urge repentance and walking in purity going forward, for God calls us to honor Him with our bodies and to pursue holiness. We pray that God will heal your heart from this past relationship and guide you toward His perfect will for your future, whether that is restoration in a way that honors God or leading you to a godly marriage that glorifies Him. We pray that you will seek first His kingdom and trust Him to provide what is best.

Your desire to see souls saved is itself a work of grace, and it is right and good that you should bring this burden before the throne. To pray for the salvation of another is to pray according to the very heart of God, who would have all men look unto Christ and live.
We will join you in prayer for this man who was once near to you, and for those whom he loves, that they may come to know the one and only way of salvation. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. There is no other foundation laid in Zion, and there is no other name by which we must be saved. Salvation is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus, without money and without price, to be received by a simple looking unto Him. As the Lord Himself says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. It is not by works, nor by merit, nor by any other hope, but by trusting in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, depending upon Him without fear for present and eternal salvation. This is the faith which saves the soul, and it is common to all who believe, yet it must be exercised by each one personally.
We will therefore pray that the Lord in His sovereign mercy will open their eyes to see their need, and open their hearts to behold Christ as He is, the salvation of God. That He will draw them to look unto Him and live, and to trust Him alone. And we will pray also for bodily health for this man, asking the Lord, if it be His gracious will, to sustain his body and restore him, remembering that health and all temporal mercies are in the hand of Him who gives all good things, and that the greatest blessing we can desire for any man is that he be made whole in soul first, for what shall it profit a man though he gain health and all else, and lose his own soul.
May the Lord keep you also in faithful prayer, committing these souls into His hands with unquestioning confidence, and leaving the work with Him who is able to keep that which is committed unto Him. Continue to ask, to seek, and to knock, for he that asks shall receive, and may you find comfort in knowing that His honor is engaged to save all who look unto Jesus.

Thank you for entrusting this burden to the prayers of the church. We join you in bringing this man and his loved ones before the Lord, who is longsuffering and desires to offer salvation that comes by repentance.
We pray that God, who loved us while we yet hated Him and who makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, would in His mercy draw your former companion to Himself. We ask that He would grant him repentance unto life, that he would turn from sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other salvation except that which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. We pray the same for his family and loved ones, that the Lord would open their eyes, soften their hearts, and bring each of them to know Christ truly and to walk in newness of life, washed by repentance, prayer and faith.
We also pray for his health, knowing that health is better than feebleness and is a gift from God. We ask the Lord to show kindness to his body, to grant strength and healing according to His wisdom, and to use even bodily weakness or restoration to lead him to seek the greater and lasting health of the soul.
We encourage you to continue in faithful prayer, entrusting these souls to God who is able to save to the uttermost those who come to Him through Christ. May the Lord comfort your own heart, keep your conduct pure, and help you to love others as Christ has loved us, seeking first their eternal good.
