Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

Please also pray that he can hear God's voice concerning His holy plan for his life.

We join with you in lifting up this landlord before the Lord and we thank you for anchoring this prayer in the truth of Luke 9:24, For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it.

We agree with your heart's desire that he would not cling to his own life and his own way and lose it, but that he would surrender his life fully to our Lord Jesus Christ and so save it. It is our prayer that the light of Christ would expel all darkness and every unclean influence, for we know that Jesus reigns over all darkness and in Him there is no darkness at all. As it is written in John 1:5, The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it.

We pray together for him now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this landlord to You. We ask for Your mercy and grace upon him. Lord, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, soften his heart to hear Your voice, and draw him by Your Holy Spirit to repentance and faith. Grant him the gift of repentance that he would lose his life for Jesus' sake, deny himself, take up his cross and follow You, and so find true and eternal life. We pray that You would make Your holy plan for his life clear to him, and that he would have ears to hear You. Your Word says in John 10:27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. We ask that You would make him one of Your sheep, that he would hear Your voice and follow You all the days of his life. We declare that no power can withstand Your mighty power and we ask for Your healing power to guide him and for victory and peace over this rented apartment situation according to Your will.

We also thank You that You desire all people to be saved. As it says in 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And we cling to the promise in Romans 10:9, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We are encouraged that you have prayed so faithfully in Jesus' name, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that anyone can be saved. As Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to continue to pray in that mighty name and to share the good news of the gospel with him as God gives opportunity, with gentleness and love.

We also notice you refer to this landlord as your ex, and we want to lovingly encourage you in biblical truth. If this was a former romantic relationship, we gently remind you that God calls us to purity and that any courtship should be with the goal of godly marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ, and that intimacy outside of that lifelong marriage covenant is fornication which God calls us to turn from. We encourage you to seek God's will for a godly spouse if it is His plan for your life, rather than returning to a relationship that does not honor Him. If there has been sin in this area we encourage repentance and to walk in newness of life, for in 2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. We pray that both you and he would walk in holiness and in the fullness of God's plan.

We thank God for your faithfulness and love in praying for one who may not yet know Him. We will continue to stand with you, believing we will all see His greatness and power, trusting in His love and faithfulness to complete the work He has begun.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We appreciated hearing your heart in this request. Wanting to see your landlord come to know Jesus and to hear God's direction for his life is a loving and faithful burden to carry, and we are glad to carry it with you.

It is encouraging that you are praying not just about the rented apartment situation itself, but for the person behind it. God cares about both, and He is patient as He draws each of us toward Himself. Hearing His voice often comes as we keep seeking Him day by day, and your prayers are part of that work in your landlord's life.

As you continue to interact with him, we encourage you to keep showing the same grace and steadiness you are praying for, and to keep lifting him by name before the Lord when you pray. Entrusting both the apartment matters and his spiritual journey to God can bring peace while you wait to see how God will work.

Father, we bring this landlord before You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your mercy to reach him, that he would come to know Jesus as Savior and find life in Him. Open his heart to hear Your voice and guide him in the plans You have for him. Give our friend peace and wisdom in the landlord relationship, and let Your light and love be evident there. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer before the great Landlord of all our lives, for as we have been taught, the house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord and we are only tenants. Your breath is in your nostrils, but He keeps it there, and He has at all times the right to enter and to call us to account. We pray that this truth may operate powerfully upon the mind of this landlord, that he may hear the still small voice and prepare to meet his God.

According to Luke 9:24 we pray, Father, that this man may not seek to save his own life and so lose it, but that he may lose his life for the sake of Christ and so save it. We ask that he may come to know the truth of Your salvation, not as a temporary work, but as a permanent work that will never fade. Grant him to see his real fall and his true sinnership, for only those who have really transgressed know their need of a real Atonement. Show him that real Atonement which Christ has made by His blood, that blessed doctrine of substitution, and bring him to that simple command, Believe and live, so that his eyes may spiritually light upon Christ and see Your Salvation. For no salvation will ever serve his turn but one which is Divine from top to bottom, God's in the beginning, God's in the carrying on and God's in the concluding. Grant him real pardon through the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son which cleanses from all sin.

We pray also that he may hear Your voice concerning Your holy plan for his life. We ask not merely for an inward impression, but that he may put his ear down to the promises of Scripture till he hears You speaking through them to his soul. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and the mere letter alone will kill unless Your Spirit speaks. Cause him to take heed how he hears, to receive the Gospel as Your voice, and to separate what is Yours from what is man's. May he be warned by Your threats, cheered by Your promises, and comforted by every good Word of the Lord, so that the Word may be life and salvation to him.

We pray that You will expel all darkness by Your light, that You will show him Your greatness and power, and that You will lead him in Your order according to Your holy law. May he offer the key of his house to You, the great Landlord, and acknowledge that he lives on sufferance as Your tenant, owing his continued existence every day to You. Have mercy upon him and draw him by Your grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone, for there is no other name by which he must be saved. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is Himself Your Salvation. Amen.
