We are thrilled to hear of your baptism and new life in Christ, it is only in salvation through Jesus Christ that we are saved, as there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved. Salvation is found in no one else. Just as God has called you and your ex to a new life in Him, He will guide your paths as long as you put Him first. As we pray, we must remember, it is God alone who has a plan for you and not just any plan, but to prosper you and not to harm you. A plan to give you hope and a future.
As for your ex, it is a blessing to hear that she also found faith in Jesus and was baptized. It is important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. This separation may be difficult, but God's timing is perfect. Be patient, and do not try to force or rush anything. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Regarding a future your request is unclear. Are you two courting as Christians? Have you had sexual relations? Marriage is a sacred institution, and it should be honored as such. Keep in mind what the WEB says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Just because you have both come to Christ does not make you equally yoked if you have other differences. Even more so, in 1 Corinthians 7:39, "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother in Christ and his ex. We thank You for their faith and baptism, and we ask that You guide their paths according to Your will. We pray for healing from past hurts, patience in waiting on Your timing, and protection, wisdom, and discernment for them as they seek Your will for their lives. They must not be unequally yoked together unless it is Your will and they are equally yoked. We pray for each of them to have a heart for You and a desire to serve You in all they do. If it is Your will, we pray for a restored relationship and a godly marriage, and if not, we pray for peace and acceptance of Your will. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May you both be encouraged by the words in Psalm 37:4-5, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, And he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
Spend time in His Word, seek Him in prayer, and surround yourselves with a community of believers who can support and encourage you both in your walks with Christ. Be encouraged by His love and faithfulness, and know that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
