We lift this situation before the Lord with hearts full of hope and faith in His transformative power. The verse you’ve shared from Luke 9:24 reminds us that true life is found only in surrendering to Jesus Christ. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is a profound truth, one that calls us to lay down our own will and trust fully in Him. We pray that your ex-landlord would come to know this truth in a deep and personal way, that he would surrender his life to Jesus and find the salvation that only Christ can offer.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness and humility, knowing that You alone have the power to change hearts and redeem lives. We ask that You would draw this man to Yourself, Lord. Soften his heart to receive the truth of Your Word and the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We declare that no darkness can withstand Your light, and we rebuke any spiritual strongholds or deceptions that may be blinding him to the truth. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in his life, convicting him of sin and leading him to repentance. We pray that he would come to know the depth of Your love and the freedom that comes from walking in Your ways.
Father, we also lift up the situation surrounding this rented apartment. We ask that You would bring healing and restoration to any broken relationships or conflicts that may have arisen. We pray that Your peace would reign in this situation, and that Your will would be done in every detail. If there are any lingering unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your love and grace. Help all involved to extend forgiveness and to seek reconciliation where it is possible, in accordance with Your Word.
Lord, we know that Your plans for us are good, and we trust that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). We pray that this man would not only find salvation but also experience the abundant life that You promise to those who follow You. May he come to see Your greatness and power in his life, and may he become a testimony of Your faithfulness to others.
We also want to encourage you, dear one, to continue standing in faith and praying persistently for this man. Prayer is a powerful weapon, and we are called to intercede for others, just as Christ intercedes for us (1 Timothy 2:1). Do not grow weary in praying, for the Lord hears the cries of His people. Trust that He is at work, even when you cannot see it.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Him that we can be reconciled to God. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this man does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, he is lost in his sins. But we serve a God who seeks the lost and saves the broken. Let us continue to pray with faith, believing that God can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
