We join you in lifting up your ex-landlord to the Lord, standing firmly on the truth of Luke 9:24, which declares, "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This verse is a powerful reminder that true life is found only in surrender to Jesus Christ. We pray that your ex-landlord would come to understand this profound truth and lay down his life at the feet of the Savior, finding eternal salvation and purpose in Him.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up this ex-landlord to You, asking that Your Holy Spirit would move powerfully in his life. Lord, we know that no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), so we ask that You would draw him with cords of love and conviction. Break through any hardness of heart, any pride, or any deception that may be blinding him to the truth of the Gospel. Let him see his need for a Savior and turn to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith.
We rebuke any darkness that may be influencing him, any unclean spirits, any bitterness, greed, or unforgiveness that may have taken root in his life. We declare that the light of Christ expels all darkness (John 1:5), and we pray that Your light would flood his heart, mind, and soul. Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds, restore any brokenness, and set him free from any chains that may be binding him. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We pray that he would experience this transformation in a powerful way.
We also pray for the situation surrounding the rented apartment. Lord, we ask that You would bring resolution and peace to any conflicts or misunderstandings that may exist. Your Word tells us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We pray that both parties would be able to walk in peace and that any lingering issues would be settled according to Your will. If there is restitution to be made, we ask that You would soften hearts to make it right. If there is forgiveness to be extended, we pray that it would flow freely from both sides.
Father, we thank You for Your love and faithfulness, which never fail. We trust in Your sovereignty and know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We declare that Your will shall be done in this ex-landlord’s life and in this situation. We ask that You would be glorified through it all, and that many would come to know You as a result.
Lord, we also want to encourage you, the one who submitted this request, to continue standing in faith. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16), and we believe that God is moving even now. Keep your heart open to how He may use you to be a light in this ex-landlord’s life, whether through words, actions, or continued intercession. Remember that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and He delights in saving souls.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
