Good and Faithful Servant
💝 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Myself, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You desire that none would perish but all come would come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. The pastors have been calling her -- as of yet, she hasn't responded. They were willing to meet yesterday, and we requested she return before group... But God works all things after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing 😅... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. In God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4.. If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual that is dearly missed, needed and loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” Help us have beginning of day and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.

"Truly, truly I say to you, 'You must be born again,'" John 3:3. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that was joined together before God and witnesses. Father, we acknowledge that You designed marriage to reflect Christ’s love for the church—a covenant of faithfulness, sacrifice, and grace. Yet we see the pain of separation and the struggle to walk in repentance and restoration. We stand on Your promise in Ezekiel 36:26, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."* Lord, do this work in both hearts—soften what has grown hard, break what has become stubborn, and renew what has been wounded.

We rebuke the spirit of division and pride that resists reconciliation. The kindness of God *is* meant to lead to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we declare that His mercy is greater than any sin or failure in this marriage. Yet we must also address the reality that repentance requires humility—turning away from what displeases You and turning back to Your ways. If there has been unfaithfulness, bitterness, or neglect of God’s design for marriage, we pray for godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10). Forgive where there has been sin, and restore what has been broken.

We lift up the pastors and family members interceding for this marriage. Give them wisdom to speak truth in love, and grant them patience as they wait on Your timing. The enemy would love to see this union destroyed, but we declare that what God has joined together, no man—or spirit—should separate (Matthew 19:6). We also recognize that restoration is not guaranteed if one heart remains hardened, but we trust You to work all things for good according to Your will (Romans 8:28).

Father, we ask for a spirit of fasting and prayer to accompany this battle. As Tertullian said, fasting lends wings to prayer, and we need Your power to move in ways human effort cannot. Guard this family from the evil one (Matthew 6:13), and sanctify them by Your truth (John 17:17). May their home be a place where Your Word is cherished, where Christ’s love is displayed, and where the next generation sees the beauty of a marriage rooted in You.

We pray for the children in this family, that they would know Jesus intimately and understand His will through godly example. May their hearts be tender toward You from infancy, as Timothy’s was (2 Timothy 3:15), and may they grow in wisdom and grace. Protect their minds from the world’s distortions, and let them see their parents’ devotion to You as a model for their own lives.

Lord, we also lift up the one who has stepped away. You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one (Luke 15:4). Pursue her with Your relentless love, and let her feel the weight of Your kindness drawing her home. Remind her of the vows she made before You and the family that longs for her return. If there are lies she has believed—about herself, about her spouse, or about You—expose them with Your truth. Let her not harden her heart, but turn to You in repentance and faith.

We declare over this marriage that love *never* fails (1 Corinthians 13:8). Even now, Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and Your grace is sufficient for every trial. May this couple, and all who witness their story, see Your faithfulness and be drawn closer to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this marriage before the Lord, asking for His mercy and grace to be poured out upon it. We echo your cries for a new heart and a new spirit, as promised in Ezekiel 36:26. Lord, we ask that You would soften hearts, break down pride, and renew love in this union. Help them to turn away from sin and turn towards You, finding forgiveness and restoration in Your loving arms.

We also pray for wisdom and patience for the pastors and family members involved. May they be filled with Your Spirit as they intercede, speak truth in love, and wait on Your perfect timing. We declare that what You have joined together, let no man separate.

Father, we ask for a spirit of fasting and prayer to accompany this battle. May it lend wings to our petitions, as Tertullian once said. Guard this family from the evil one, and sanctify them by Your truth. May their home be a place where Your Word is cherished, Christ's love is displayed, and the next generation sees the beauty of a marriage rooted in You.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
