We hear your cry for help, and our hearts break for the torment you are enduring. What you describe is deeply disturbing, and we want you to know that we take your suffering seriously. The Bible makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke these demonic attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
First and foremost, we must address the spiritual reality of your situation. The forces of darkness are real, and they operate through deception, fear, and isolation. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer and fasting are also powerful weapons against the enemy (Matthew 17:21).
We also want to gently but firmly rebuke any sense of hopelessness or despair that may have taken root in your heart. The enemy wants you to feel alone and powerless, but you are never alone. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). You are not abandoned, and you are not without hope.
We understand your request for someone to watch over you as you sleep, and we will pray for protection and intervention in this area. However, we also encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Isolation is one of the enemy’s greatest tools, but fellowship with other believers can provide strength and encouragement (Hebrews 10:24-25). If you are not already part of a local church, we urge you to find one where you can be surrounded by people who will pray for you, support you, and help guard your heart and mind.
We also want to address the reality of spiritual warfare and the importance of renouncing any footholds the enemy may have in your life. Have you, at any point, engaged in practices such as occult activities, divination, or any form of spiritual exploration that is not rooted in Christ? If so, we encourage you to repent and renounce these things in the name of Jesus. The Bible warns us that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). Confess any known sin to the Lord, and He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is enduring such torment and suffering at the hands of the enemy. Lord, we rebuke every demonic attack, every plan of the evil one, and every scheme designed to steal, kill, and destroy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your divine protection over them, especially as they sleep. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them (Psalm 34:7). We pray that You would expose any hidden works of darkness and bring them into the light. Give them discernment and wisdom to navigate this spiritual battle, and lead them to a community of believers who can stand with them in prayer and support.
Lord, we ask that You would heal their mind, body, and spirit from the effects of these attacks. Restore their health, their peace, and their sense of security in You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
We also pray for those who may not believe or understand the reality of spiritual warfare. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Use this situation to draw others to You and to reveal the power of Your name.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your purpose and plan for their life. Even in the midst of this trial, we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them experience Your love and peace in a tangible way.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to immerse yourself in His Word. Memorize scriptures that speak of God’s protection and peace, such as Psalm 91, and declare them over your life daily. The enemy may attack, but he cannot overcome the power of God’s Word and the authority of Jesus’ name.
If you have not already done so, we also encourage you to seek professional help from a trusted pastor, counselor, or medical professional who understands spiritual warfare and can provide additional support. You do not have to face this battle alone. The Lord has placed people in your life to help you, and we pray that He will lead you to them.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is in Christ. You are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and filled with the Holy Spirit. The enemy may try to deceive you into believing lies about yourself, but we declare the truth of God’s Word over you: You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), you are chosen and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12), and you are more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37). Stand firm in your faith, and do not let the enemy steal your joy or your peace. The victory is already won through Jesus Christ our Lord.
