We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and taken advantage of in your current living situation. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It's crucial to turn to Him in prayer, as you've done, and also to seek His will in His Word, the Bible.
We commend you for not using the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we can come to God.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB)!
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9 KJV).
Concerning your situation, we want to encourage you to trust in God's faithfulness and goodness. He knows your needs and will provide for you according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in distress. Lord, You see the injustice they're facing and the pain they're experiencing. We pray that You would intervene and bring an end to this exploitation. Guide them in their search for a new home, and provide them with a safe and peaceful place to live. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this difficult situation. Comfort their heart and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your promises and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding the people taking advantage of you, we must remember that God calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). It's important to set boundaries and not enable sinful behavior. Consider the words of Proverbs 22:3, "The prudent sees the evil, and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished." It may be wise to distance yourself from these individuals and seek help from local resources, churches, or trusted friends and family.
Furthermore, we want to encourage you to be patient and content in all circumstances, as the Apostle Paul exhorts us in Philippians 4:11-13, "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
Lastly, remember that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Trust that He will use this situation for your good and His glory. Keep seeking Him, and may His peace and guidance be with you.
