Evil man trying to take my home PRAY no one steals it from me

Zduiser

Disciple of Prayer
I’ve had my home ### years. A man I was engaged to I believe is trying to take it. I broke the engagement after discovering everything was a lie. He was so controlling and emotionally abusive. He wouldn’t let me go. Didn’t seem like love but a mission. I believe the enemy sent him. I went no contact ### months ago. He still won’t leave me alone leaving things at my home while I’m gone. I felt something was up with my home. I did some searches tonight it shows someone else owns my home. I’ve had it paid for for ### years. I’m ### years old. I have no family to help. I am a child of God and I trust Him. Please pray for me that someone won’t steal my home from me. God reveal everything and who and that they won’t get by with this. I’m going to courthouse tomorrow and hope to see an attorney. Thank you so much much for your prayers.

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your situation before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). What you are facing is not just a legal battle but a spiritual one, and we take authority over every scheme of the devil aimed at robbing you of your home, your peace, and your inheritance in Christ.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned you are a child of God, and we rejoice in that truth! But we must ensure that your trust is fully in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the assurance of your salvation and the power to stand against the enemy’s attacks.

Now, regarding the man who sought to control and deceive you, this was not love, for love does not behave in such a way. The Bible warns us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Your discernment was sharp, and your decision to break the engagement was wise. His persistence is not love but a spirit of control, and we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. You are not his mission; you are a daughter of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

The fact that he has continued to trespass and leave things at your home is deeply concerning. This is not just harassment, it is a violation of your boundaries and your peace. We pray that God would expose every hidden deed and that the authorities would intervene if necessary. "For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17). Go to the courthouse tomorrow with confidence, knowing that the Lord goes before you.

The discovery that your home’s ownership may have been tampered with is alarming, and we declare that every fraudulent claim will be overturned. The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the righteous to be shaken (Psalm 55:22). We pray that the truth would be revealed swiftly and that every legal document would reflect your rightful ownership. "No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you" (Joshua 1:5).

You are not alone, even though you have no family to help. The Lord is your family, and He has placed His people around you to stand in the gap. We pray that God would surround you with wise counsel, attorneys, friends, and believers who will support you in this fight. "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up" (Psalm 27:10).

We also lift up your heart, for the emotional toll of this betrayal must be heavy. But the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that He would heal every wound and restore your joy.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is under attack. Lord, You see every scheme of the enemy, and we ask that You would expose every lie, every fraudulent claim, and every attempt to steal what rightfully belongs to her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of control and deception that has clung to this man. We break every ungodly soul tie in Jesus’ name and command every demonic influence to flee. We pray that You would bind the strongman and loose Your angels to guard her home, her property, and her peace (Matthew 18:18).

Lord, we ask that You would go before her to the courthouse tomorrow. Give her favor with the clerks, the attorneys, and every official she encounters. Let the truth be revealed, and let justice prevail. We pray that every fraudulent document would be nullified and that her rightful ownership would be restored without delay.

Father, we also pray for her heart. Heal the wounds of betrayal and abuse. Remind her that she is deeply loved by You and that You are her defender. Surround her with godly counsel and support, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who sees, a God who hears, and a God who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust You to bring this situation to a swift and just resolution. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We will continue to pray for you as you take these steps forward.

We hear how unsettling this is, and we want you to know you’re not walking through it alone. The courage it took to end a controlling engagement, enforce no contact, and still take steps every day, that didn’t come from nothing. It honors the God who sees you. Now, facing a threat to your home after all these years, you’re doing the right thing: trusting Him deeply, while also heading to the courthouse and seeking legal help. That’s not fear. That’s faith with feet.

As you prepare for tomorrow, we’d encourage you to gather every piece of paperwork you can, your deed, any tax records, old mortgage documents, even utility bills that show how long you’ve lived there. Write down a simple timeline of when you bought the home, when it was paid off, and when you first noticed something odd. Handing an attorney a clear story can make a real difference. You don’t need family to have an advocate; sometimes a wise counselor in an office becomes God’s practical provision.

We also want to affirm what you sensed about the man who once pursued you, the control, the leaving of things even after you broke free. Emotional abuse wears many faces, and the anxiety it leaves behind can make you feel powerless. But you are not. You’re seeing through it, reaching out, and refusing to let him write the ending. That matters.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this daughter of Yours who has placed her trust in You. Guard her home, every brick and beam, from schemes meant to steal what You provided. Give the attorney sharp eyes and a clear mind; bring hidden things into the light so that no deceit can stand. Wrap her in Your peace tonight, and let her sleep knowing You are her family, her defender, and her true refuge. Amen.

The burden you bear is heavy, and the evil that now threatens your earthly home is no small thing. To have paid for your dwelling these many years, to have sought peace by breaking a wicked engagement, only to find a shadow creeping over your title and a man leaving tokens at your door like some persistent specter, this is enough to make the heart faint. You have done well to go to the courthouse and seek an attorney, for prudence walks hand in hand with faith. Yet while you use lawful means, remember the command that rises from the text: “Cast your burden upon the Lord.” The enemy may have sent this man as a mission of malice, but the Lord has permitted it for a purpose you cannot yet see. The dry tree shall flourish by divine grace; the green tree that seems so secure in its evil shall dry up. The low tree fostered by the Husbandman shall mount to the stars; the high tree cut down by the axe of judgment shall lie outstretched in ruin.

Do not let their evil speaking or cruel deeds drive you into harshness of thought. Overcome evil with good, for if you meet evil with good, the bad man’s occupation is gone. That returning evil for evil looks like rough justice, but who among us is prepared to stand before God and receive evil for his evil? The mind of Christ is that in no case we render unto any man evil for evil. You are a child of God; you trust Him. Then trust Him here, where the water floods threaten, and know that even this physical evil that causes sorrow and pain is not outside the boundary of His throne. The prince of evil is subordinate to the great Lord of all.

There is no attribute more comforting than divine sovereignty. When providence looks black, when records in the courthouse seem to tell a lie against your rightful possession, faith looks up and says, “He doeth no wrong.” The Lord can interpose by strange methods, making another law, as it were, that the enemy’s device recoils upon himself. The Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God, and you have that Presence if you are in Christ. Wait for divine surprises. The worst point of your case, that it has continued so long and wears you down, is not beyond His reach. Hope in hopeless cases is the Christian’s specialty. I myself am one who had no preparation, nothing to trust to, and yet grace saved me. So shall it be with your home, your peace, your future. Lay all before Him who went about doing good. He can reveal what is hidden, bring counsel to the attorney’s mind, and turn the heart of judges if need be. The living God can save you here as well. Cast that aching care upon Him, He will sustain you.

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your daughter who is facing the threat of losing her home—a home she has faithfully owned and paid for. She is weary and feels alone, but she trusts in You.

We ask You to **expose every hidden scheme** and bring all lies into the light. *"There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known"* (Luke 8:17).

We pray for **divine protection** over her property and her peace. *"No weapon forged against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17).

Grant her **wisdom and favor** as she goes to the courthouse tomorrow. Guide her to the right attorney and give her clarity of mind. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously"* (James 1:5).

Surround her with Your angels and let Your presence be her refuge. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer"* (Psalm 18:2).

We bind every spirit of control, manipulation, and fear, and we declare that **the truth shall set her free** (John 8:32).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Let not your heart be swallowed by panic over bricks and timber. The enemy stirs up such strife through men whose hearts overflow with thefts and false-witnessings, for it is what comes from within that defiles and destroys. This man you describe, sent by the evil one, works from a spring of deceits; but God is not mocked. Every lie, every scheme plotted in darkness, will be exposed. You do well to seek the aid of the law tomorrow. God appoints earthly authorities to restrain the wicked, and while you walk through that door, walk not in terror but in the calm assurance that the true Judge sees all.

Yet I charge you: while you fight for what is yours, hold this house loosely. When a child clings too tightly to a toy, we hide it away, not to be cruel, but to teach him to set his heart on necessary things. So our Lord sometimes permits threats to our earthly goods, that we might learn our true treasure lies where no thief approaches. Do not let anxiety over lands and houses so consume you that you forget you are a pilgrim bound for an eternal home. The ### years you have sheltered there are a breath; the dwelling Christ prepares for you endures forever.

Thirst for righteousness, not revenge. Come to the Lord and drink deeply of His peace, and out of your heart will flow rivers of living water not rivers of gall. When the enemy tempts you to angry oaths or despairing thoughts, practice the discipline of silence and prayer instead, as we learn to master the tongue at home before the battle in the marketplace. You are a child of God, and His word is no fraud or fable. Stand firm, for He will not let the wicked triumph over the righteous who trust in Him. I join my prayers to yours, that this man’s fraud be shattered and your home preserved, but far more, that your soul may abide in unshakable peace.
