Evil, lack of remorse

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after a month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over the grave injustice you have endured. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and outright deception displayed by those responsible for your safety is not only morally reprehensible but a direct violation of God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves. The Scripture is clear: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27 WEB). Yet these individuals have not only withheld what is due but have actively sought to cover up their negligence, even at the risk of your life. This is not merely a legal or contractual failure, it is a sin against God and against you.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, callousness, and deception that has taken root in their hearts. The Lord sees every shock you endured, every wound on your skin, and every sleepless night spent in fear. He is a God of justice, and He will not be mocked. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19 WEB). But we also pray for their souls, for the Holy Spirit to convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance. Their refusal to acknowledge wrongdoing reveals a heart in desperate need of God’s mercy. May the Lord break their pride and soften their hearts, that they might see the weight of their actions and turn from their wickedness.

We pray for your protection, both physically and legally. The threats of eviction and legal action against you, even as you prepare to leave an uninhabitable dwelling, are further evidence of their ungodly character. But the Lord is your defender. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14 WEB). May He grant you wisdom in every interaction, favor in the eyes of authorities, and a swift resolution to this matter. We ask that the Lord expose any further deceit in their dealings and that justice be served, not only for your sake but for the sake of others who may be harmed by their actions.

We also lift up the lawyer representing the landlord. The words she has written, equating "comfort" with a life-threatening issue, reveal a heart hardened to the point of cruelty. We pray for her salvation, that the Lord would open her eyes to the gravity of her words and the weight of her actions. May she be confronted with the truth of Scripture: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness" (Isaiah 5:20 WEB). Let conviction fall upon her, and may she repent before the Lord.

Father, we ask that You move mightily in this situation. Break the chains of greed and deception that bind these individuals. Let Your light expose every hidden corner of their wrongdoing. Grant [redacted] compensation for the harm they have suffered, not only financially but in the restoration of peace and dignity. May the landlord, the contact person, the owner, and all involved be brought to a place of true remorse, where they not only apologize but make restitution with humility. We declare that their hearts will not remain hardened forever. We speak life over this situation, life where there has been death, truth where there has been deceit, and justice where there has been oppression.

We also pray for [redacted]’s emotional and spiritual well-being. The psychological toll of this ordeal is heavy, and the enemy would love to use it to breed bitterness or despair. But we declare that [redacted] will not be overcome by evil but will overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21 WEB). May the Lord heal every wound, restore every loss, and fill [redacted] with His peace that surpasses all understanding. Let this trial refine [redacted]’s faith, not destroy it, and may [redacted] emerge with a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Lastly, we pray for the electricians who were asked to falsify reports. May the Lord grant them the courage to stand for truth and refuse to be complicit in this sin. Let their integrity be a witness to the power of righteousness, and may they be protected from any backlash for doing what is right.

We stand on the promise of God’s Word: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and will save them" (Psalm 145:18-19 WEB). We cry out to You now, Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus, for justice, for repentance, and for Your glory to be revealed in this situation. Amen.

We hurt with you as we read this. What you’ve endured, the physical danger, the callous indifference, and now the continued threats even after you’ve moved out, is grievous, and the lack of any apology or compassion only deepens the wound. It is exhausting to hold out for remorse that never comes, and we don’t want you to carry that alone.

Sometimes the hardest step is the one that looks like surrender but is actually freedom: we can release our demand for their apology and compensation into the hands of the God who sees every hidden thing. We don’t stop praying for their hearts to soften, we do, and we will with you, but we can also ask Him to guard your own heart from bitterness while you wait. You don’t need their words to be whole; He is your vindicator and your healer. When the pain revisits you, we encourage you to bring it honestly to Him in prayer, maybe even writing out the ache and then laying it down as an act of trust. He already knows, and He cares.

As a practical step, we urge you to lean into a local, solid Christian community if you haven’t already. Let a pastor or mature believers walk with you, cover you in prayer, and help you navigate any further legal threats in a way that honors your safety and dignity. You are not meant to face this alone.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up our friend who has suffered so much. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and who will not be mocked. Bring a supernatural shutting down of every unjust threat, and if it is Your will, work genuine conviction and remorse in those who have acted cruelly. But above all, flood our friend with Your peace, peace that doesn’t depend on an apology, and restore what this trial has stolen. We ask for practical provision, wise counsel, and a tangible sense of Your closeness. Amen.

The hardness of heart you describe is a dreadful testimony to the natural state of man apart from the Spirit of God. A heart that can look upon another’s wounds and feel no pity, that can trade life-threatening peril for a false report, is a heart of adamant, such as Ezekiel spoke of. Yet, be of good cheer: the Lord who removes the heart of stone and gives a heart of flesh is able to work even in these. No human argument can soften what the Holy Spirit must melt, and He has appointed the preaching of Christ crucified as the hammer of love that breaks the rock in pieces. Therefore, continue in prayer without ceasing, for the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, and the day of vengeance and the acceptable year are both in His hand.

Remember that your own safety and vindication rest not with men, but with the Great Landlord of all souls. He sees every secret chamber of the house, and He will settle every account with precision. The wrongs done to you are noted in His book, and He will not fail to recompense. But see to it that your own heart remains tender. Though you have suffered, do not let a root of bitterness spring up. Commend yourself to Him who judges righteously, and ask not merely for compensation, but that these blinded ones may yet look upon Him whom they have pierced, and mourn. Their only hope, and yours for peace, lies in that vision of the Crucified.

Let your prayers be sharpened with this truth: the most scandalous sinner may become the most ardent saint. I have known hearts so hard that they seemed past feeling, yet when the Spirit of grace and supplication was poured out, they melted like wax before the flame. Pray, then, that the Lord would pour out that Spirit upon your landlord, the lawyer, and all who have acted with such callous cruelty. Cry to God that they may be made to feel the weight of their own iniquity, and in that sorrow to fly to Jesus. Nothing else will bring true apology or restitution, only a new heart can produce fruits worthy of repentance.

While you wait, keep your own garments unspotted. The greatest testimony you can bear is to walk in meekness and lowliness of heart, imitating Him who, when He was reviled, reviled not again. The world may call your expectation of justice fanaticism, but faith is the substance of things hoped for. Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. He will guide you by His counsel, and afterward receive you to glory. In the meanwhile, let your petition rise like incense: “Lord, break their hardness. May they hear Thy call. May they submit to Thee.” That prayer, offered in the name of Jesus, has power with God.

The desolate often have more children than the married wife, and out of your present affliction may spring such a harvest of grace that you shall yet sing for joy. The God who turns the shadow of death into the morning is with you. Trust Him, and be not dismayed.
