Evil,lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after two months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in this deeply troubling situation, lifting it before the Lord with heavy hearts. The disregard for human life, the callousness of heart, and the blatant dishonesty displayed by those responsible are not only legally and morally reprehensible but are direct violations of God’s commandments. Scripture is clear: "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13 WEB), and this extends to negligence that endangers life. The fact that they would ask electricians to falsify reports is fraud and a grievous sin before God. "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). Their actions reveal a hardness of heart that only God can soften.

We also rebuke the spiritual darkness at work here, this is not merely human stubbornness but a manifestation of evil that seeks to destroy and deceive. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The lack of remorse, the threats, and the refusal to take responsibility are all signs of a heart that has resisted the conviction of the Holy Spirit. We pray that the Lord would break through that resistance with His mighty power.

We come before the throne of grace on your behalf, declaring that justice belongs to the Lord. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB). We pray that He would intervene in this situation, exposing every lie, every act of fraud, and every attempt to silence you. May the truth be revealed in full, and may those who have acted wickedly be held accountable, not just in the courts of man, but before the judgment seat of Christ. "For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of the landlord, the lawyer, and all those involved in this injustice. Break the hardness that has taken root in them, Lord. "I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 11:19 WEB). May they be convicted of their sin, repent, and seek to make restitution. We pray that they would come to know You, for apart from Christ, there is no true transformation. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

We also lift you up, dear one, and ask the Lord to heal the wounds, both physical and emotional, that you have endured. The electric shocks you suffered are a violation of your safety and dignity, and we pray for complete restoration. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). May the Lord provide for your needs, including safe housing and financial provision, as you navigate this difficult season. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

We declare that this situation will not end in defeat but in victory. The enemy may have sought to harm you, but God will turn it around for good. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives" (Genesis 50:20 WEB). We pray that the landlord and his representatives would not only compensate you fairly but would also experience a profound change of heart, one that leads them to repentance and salvation.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this brother/sister with godly counsel, wise legal support, and a community of believers who will stand with them in prayer and practical help. May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB). We also pray for protection over their mind and emotions, that they would not be consumed by bitterness or fear but would walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Finally, we declare that the name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:10 WEB). We command every spirit of deception, greed, and hardness of heart to flee in Jesus’ name. We pray that the light of Christ would pierce the darkness in this situation, bringing repentance, restoration, and justice. May the Lord’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Reading your updates, we can feel how exhausting and disorienting this has been. You’re not just dealing with a dangerous apartment and physical shocks, you’re up against a wall of indifference, a lawyer equating safety with “comfort,” and people who seem determined to blame you rather than fix what they’re responsible for. That kind of stonewalling can wound as deeply as the original harm, because it carries the message that your suffering doesn’t matter. It matters.

When we’re treated this way, the ache for even a simple apology or acknowledgment can become heavy. The injustice can replay in our minds, and over time, that weight can quietly harden something inside us, not toward them, but within our own spirit. We don’t say that to rush you toward a forgiveness you’re not ready for, only to gently point out that carrying this alone, without an outlet, can drain life from other places. You deserve to be free of that weight, regardless of whether they ever change.

One thing that might help is to write out a lament to God, not a tidy prayer, but a raw, honest pouring out of every frustration and wound. He can handle it. And if you haven’t already, let a wise friend or pastor walk alongside you; you shouldn’t have to process this in isolation. You’ve been through something real, and you need safe people who will simply be with you.

Jesus, we lift up our friend who has faced real danger and then callous dismissal. We ask You to be their shelter and their steady peace. For the landlord, the lawyer, and everyone involved, we pray for a softened heart and a genuine encounter with Your conviction. But most of all, we ask You to guard our friend’s heart from bitterness and to replace the sting of injustice with the deep assurance that You see and You will not abandon them. Give wisdom in any legal matters, and keep them safe as they move forward. In Your name, amen.

It is a heavy burden you bear, and the cruelty of those who have power over you cuts deep. When men not only neglect plain duty but falsify reports, threaten, and mock your very safety as mere “comfort,” they prove themselves to have hearts of stone. I do not wonder that you cry out for God to break such hardness. Our Lord Jesus looked on men with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, and in your case there is much to grieve the Holy Spirit. No touch of malevolence was in His anger, but it was love on fire against that which is unlovely. Even so, we dare not pray down curses, but we must pray down conviction. These people walk in insensibility, impenetrable to pity, inflexible in their pride. Yet the hammer of God’s Word can shatter what Satan has fortified.

Cease not to pray that they may hear His call, for a heart of flesh is the gift of the covenant. Remorse without faith works death, but the look at Him whom they pierce by such unrighteousness is the only cure. May the Holy Spirit bring them to see the evil of their doings, and then lead them to the wounded Savior. Until then, you must cast this care upon Him who judges righteously. The Lord sees every shock that wounded your skin, every threat from that ###’s lips, every falsehood in the reports. There is no darkness where the workers of iniquity can hide from His gaze. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your just cause as the noonday. In patience possess your soul; the vultures of evil do not move without His permission, and He can turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

But watch your own spirit, lest a root of bitterness spring up within you. It is a hard fight to look unceasingly at injustice and yet to love, but the cross of Christ supplies the power. There, justice and mercy meet, and you may learn to plead while you wait. I urge you to spread the matter before the throne not merely for redress but for the conversion of these miserable souls. To win a foe by prayer is the noblest revenge. God’s long-suffering with them may be the door of hope; He sends rain upon the unjust, not to wink at sin but to lead to repentance. Before the throne of grace, wrestle for them as for yourself. The Lord can turn the heart of the most hardened landlord as easily as He turned the heart of Pharaoh, though, to be sure, Pharaoh’s end was ruin. Pray rather that theirs may be like the jailer of Philippi, who washed the stripes of the prisoners he once disregarded.

Meanwhile, rest in this: you have a High Priest who is touched with the feeling of your infirmities. He was despised, falsely accused, and stripped of human comfort. He knows what it is to be counted as having no rights. He suffered the contradiction of sinners against Himself, yet He committed His cause to Him that judges righteously. In your broken heart He sees a mirror of His own tenderness. He will bind up that wound, and in His time give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning. The wicked may flourish for a season, but their triumph is short. The Lord will judge His people and make a difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him that fears God and him that fears not.

Continue in prayer, and take courage. Despondency wins no victories. Let your request be made known unto God with thanksgiving, and the peace of God shall garrison your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. The evil one would have you fret and fume, but the Lord bids you trust. No doctrine of comfort belongs to the unbroken, but for the brokenhearted He has sure consolations. Wait upon Him, and He will strengthen your heart.

The wounds you bear, both to your body and your soul, are no small thing, and the hardness of those who refuse to see the evil they have done is like a stone that crushes the heart. I have seen such things, and I know the sting of injustice. Yet consider this: affliction itself is not the evil. The true evil is the sin that hardens a heart, the unrepentant conscience that stores up wrath. Those who have wronged you, who falsify reports and demand payment while you suffer, are indeed in a dangerous state. The devil, as I have often said, lulls the unwary until the sin is complete, and then remorse may come too late, or be snatched away by his cunning. Pray, then, that their remorse may not be like that of Judas, who felt the sting but fled to despair, but rather a godly sorrow that leads to repentance and life.

Do not let their poison become yours. When you are defamed, grieve only if the charge is true; but if it is false, remember that you stand with Christ when you suffer unjustly. Speak no evil of them in return, for that only multiplies the wound. Instead, make your stand against the tyranny of anger and the torment of a bitter spirit. Your own conscience, if kept clean, will be a wellspring of peace amid this tribulation, far sweeter than any comfort the world can give.

At the same time, you must act with prudence. To cast yourself needlessly into danger, expecting God to rescue you, is a diabolical temptation. You have documented the peril; you have sought help. If the place is indeed life-threatening, do not remain there as if to test God. Flight from such a snare is an act of faith, not of cowardice. Entrust the matter to the righteous Judge who sees all, and who often allows the faithful to pass through fire and water so that His deliverance may shine the brighter.

Yes, pray fervently for them. Ask God to take away their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh, that they may hear His call and submit. This is the true victory: not that you receive compensation or apology, though those are just, but that souls are snatched from the pit. Let your prayer be like the saints of old, who endured suffering as seeing Him who is invisible. Remember the mercies God has shown you already; if He has delivered you from the greatest danger, the death of the soul, will He not also care for your body? Hold fast to this hope, and let it kindle in you a love that even prays for those who persecute you. This is the mark of a true Christian, a wisdom that no earthly court can give.

The weight of what you are carrying is immense, and the injustice you have described is not hidden from the Lord. He sees every wound on your skin and every calloused word spoken against you. That a lawyer would declare you do not deserve comfort while you were being physically harmed reveals a chilling truth: the imagination of a heart untouched by mercy can twist reality so badly that a life threatening danger is dismissed as a luxury. This is the profound confusion of pride. The Scriptures remind us that God scatters the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He overthrows the powerful from their thrones and sends the rich away empty, but He lifts up the lowly and fills the hungry with good things. You are that lowly one crying out, and your cry has reached the right ears.

The demand to falsify a report and the refusal to show remorse are symptoms of a deep spiritual hardness. They are like those who love the praise of men more than the fear of God. When a heart becomes set against the truth, it finds fault where it should find healing. But take courage. The parable of the persistent widow was given for this exact kind of battle. Jesus told it so we would not lose heart. If a wicked, unfeeling judge who neither feared God nor cared for men could finally be moved by a widow’s persistence, how much more will God bring about justice for you? The point is not that God is reluctant. The contrast is stunning: we are not approaching a hard heart, but a Father who loves and cares deeply. When we cry to Him day and night, He will certainly avenge. We do not come demanding justice as if we ourselves were without need of mercy; we come pleading His mercy against this cruelty, trusting Him to act.

Your plea for them to receive a heart of flesh instead of stone is exactly the right prayer. No human effort can force a person to feel remorse or submit to God. With man this is impossible, but with God all things are. The same Spirit that empowered the prophetic call to turn the hearts of the disobedient to the wisdom of the just is able to break through the most stubborn resistance. Do not grow weary in praying for this supernatural turnaround. The authority in the name of Jesus is more than a phrase; it is the power to bind the work of the enemy that holds people captive to such lying and greed. Stand firm in that authority, refusing to let their words define your reality. Their lawyer may try to bury you under threats, but the Word of God declares that the Day spring from on high visits us to give light to those who sit in darkness. Let your own heart be steadied by that peace which subdues every fear. Keep bringing this before the throne, confident that the Judge of all the earth will do what is right.

We are deeply moved by your situation and grateful that you have entrusted us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer. It is heartbreaking to hear of the hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and the ungodly actions being taken against you in this life-threatening circumstance. We have lifted you, the landlord, the owner, the contact person, the legal representatives, and all involved before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to intervene in power and truth.

We continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would convict hearts and break the chains of indifference, deceit, and cruelty. May the Lord soften hardened hearts, open eyes to see the severity of this injustice, and bring about genuine repentance. We ask that He would turn this situation around for His glory, that those responsible would be moved to apologize, take responsibility, and provide just compensation. Father, we also pray for your protection over you—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—as you navigate this trial.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. If not, please know that we stand ready to continue interceding on your behalf. We will not cease praying until we see God’s justice, mercy, and healing poured out in this matter.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, provide for your every need, and remind you of His unfailing love. Keep seeking Him, for He is faithful, and His purposes will prevail. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
