Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after two months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over the injustice and callousness you have endured. The lack of remorse, the falsification of safety reports, and the threats you’ve faced reveal a hardness of heart that grieves the Holy Spirit. Scripture warns us, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness" (Isaiah 5:20). What these individuals have done is not merely negligent, it is sinful, and we must call it what it is before the Lord.

The electrical hazards you described are a direct violation of God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). To knowingly endanger another’s life and then demand payment or eviction is the opposite of love, it is oppression. "Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other" (Zechariah 7:10). We rebuke this spirit of exploitation in Jesus’ name and declare that it will not stand.

We also lift up the lawyer involved in this situation. Her words reveal a heart in desperate need of God’s truth. "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). But we know that God can soften even the hardest heart. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her of the gravity of her actions and lead her to repentance. May she see the harm she has caused and turn from her ways.

For the landlord and all involved, we pray that God would break their pride and resistance. "God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). May they humble themselves before the Lord and seek reconciliation with you. We declare that their attempts to silence or intimidate you will fail. "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for your protection, physically, emotionally, and legally. You have done the right thing by documenting everything, and we believe God will use this for your good. "The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). May He provide you with wisdom, favor, and justice in every interaction with these individuals.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who judges justly and defends the weak. We ask that You expose every lie, every false report, and every ungodly motive in this situation. Break the hardness of heart in the landlord, the lawyer, and all who have wronged this dear one. Soften their spirits to repentance and restitution. Let them see the harm they have caused and move them to make amends.

Lord, we also pray for Your provision and peace for this beloved child of Yours. You see their suffering, their medical needs, and their financial strain. Provide for them abundantly, as You promise in Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Surround them with godly counsel, strong advocates, and a community that will stand with them.

We declare that this situation will not end in defeat but in Your victory. May those who have acted with cruelty be brought to accountability, and may this dear one walk in freedom, restoration, and blessing. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge and our Advocate. Amen.

What you describe is painful and deeply unjust. To be harmed by a life‑threatening electrical hazard, then met with dishonesty, denial, and threats instead of basic human decency, wounds both body and spirit. A crushed spirit truly does feel like dried‑up bones, and the ongoing lack of remorse compounds that weight. We do not minimize the hurt; God sees every detail, and He cares.

We join you in praying for these hardened hearts, not because they deserve it, but because only God can bring about the turning you long for. At the same time, we want you to be protected. Since the situation now includes legal pressure, a practical step is to carefully keep all your documentation, photos, medical reports, any communication, and seek advice from a local tenants’ rights group or a trustworthy attorney. Understanding your legal standing can help relieve some of the feeling of helplessness. You are not meant to face this alone; even a trusted friend or a pastor who can walk alongside you can make a real difference.

As you navigate the aftermath, please know that we are praying with you, asking God to bring truth to light, to break through the stubborn resistance in those responsible, and to surround you with wise support and steady peace.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this one who has been harmed and callously treated. You see the electric shocks, the wounds, the intimidation, and the lack of remorse. We ask You to protect them from further harm and to provide the help they need. Expose what is hidden and bring about a just resolution that no human maneuvering can thwart. We pray for the landlord, the lawyer, and all involved, that You would soften hearts of stone, spark genuine regret, and lead them to do what is right. In the waiting, please steady this person’s heart with Your presence and grant healing for the wounds carried. In Your mighty name, Jesus.

Just another landlord who is a child of the Devil. They are ALL evil, wicked, and cursed. They will have their day when they face the Lord of lords, and King of kings. When each, and every one of them is cast into H-E-L-L-! In Jesus' name! Amen!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Such hardness of heart, callousness of conscience, want of feeling, makes the heart grow horny, losing its proper softness. God save us from a hard heart: it leads to something worse than death. The landlord, the contact person, the lawyer, they have no pity, no fellow-feeling, their hearts as leather. They falsify reports, demand payment, and declare that life-threatening danger is mere comfort. This reveals not only legal cunning but a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Unbelief of God is the fountain of innumerable sins; dark unbelief is the parent of many crimes. The mischief of such thoughts appears in their refusal of honest dealing, their threats, and their evasion. These are not only injustices against you but overt acts of rebellion against the Lord who commands love of neighbor.

Yet there is a peril greater than your discomfort or their schemes, the danger of their own souls. Those who are carnally secure, who say in their hearts, “We shall prosper; we need no repentance,” are in imminent danger of falling into the worst forms of sin. Dread growing hard in your thoughts of sin! Dread growing cold in your thoughts of Christ! Dread growing stony in your thoughts of your fellow sinners! To continue in unconfessed sin, refusing remorse, is to store up wrath. Conscience itself can measure out an infinite misery; let but remorse lay its thongs of wire upon a man, and it will scar and gash him to the very soul.

Pray that the Holy Spirit gives them a very vivid sense of sin and a very intense dread of it. Dwell at the foot of the cross, it is there that tenderness is born into human hearts. Jesus makes all hearts soft and then stamps his image on them. The heart of Jesus is meek and lowly; has his tender love no beauty in their eyes? Preach his loving heart to them in your prayers, that the heart of Jesus may draw their hearts. Unless the hard metal is melted, it cannot be molded. The Lord Jesus will never set his seal upon cold wax; he stamps his image on hearts of flesh and not on stones. Therefore, entreat him to take away the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, that they may submit to his guidance and hear his call.

Commit this into the hand of him who is able to keep you from falling. He can extract good even from the failings and falls of others. May the God who abhors the hardness of pride and the pleading of unbelief turn this situation utterly around. May they show the remorse that befits those who fear God, offer apology, and render compensation with due respect. And may your own heart, tested in this furnace, remain tender, your faith still hand in hand with fear, trusting not in the arm of flesh but in the God who gives not account of any of his matters.

You plead for hardened hearts to be softened, and rightly so, for there is no affliction more dreadful than a heart that cannot feel its own sin. To inflict wounds and then demand payment, to call life-threatening danger a mere lack of comfort: this is the work of a mind steeped in covetousness, which treats all men as enemies. Such men, the apostle says, treasure up for themselves wrath against the day of righteous judgment. God’s long-suffering is meant to lead them to repentance, not to serve as a license for obstinacy. Pray for them, yes, but do not let your soul be consumed by passion for their apology. Your tears over their impenitence are of kindly affection; but if they persist, it is their own doing, and they shut themselves out from mercy.

Yet while you ask for the breaking of their hardness, examine your own heart as well. Have you made room for them in your soul, or have you straitened yourself with bitterness? For the true disciple must love even those who treat him contemptuously, willing to die and live with them, as Paul did. When you see your enemy rushing toward a precipice, you apply the bit and lash, not out of revenge, but out of a desire for his safety. So pray earnestly that they may escape the snare of the devil. Prayer is the mother of this desire, for it forces the soul to see them not as wild beasts, but as those for whom Christ died.

True repentance is not mere weeping, as Esau taught us, who shed tears but found no place for it, for his heart remained murderous. Repentance has great force, able to set free even the one who has gone down into the very depth of wickedness, provided it be genuine. It is not the tears of wounded pride that God receives, but the contrition that turns from evil and seeks forgiveness. Continue to ask that they may be granted this gift, for without it, their end is fearful. But if they refuse, do not let your own peace be stolen. God sees. The judgment is not yours to execute. Commend them to the One who judges righteously, and rest in His care.

The words of that lawyer betray what is in the heart. When someone equates basic safety from a life-threatening electrical hazard with mere "comfort" and claims you do not deserve repairs, you are not dealing with a simple misunderstanding. You are looking at something that comes from deep within. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The refusal to show remorse, the blocking of communication, the threats, all of it flows from a hard and impenitent heart. Such a heart treasures up wrath against the day of wrath, storing it up bit by bit with each act of evasion and cruelty. That is a terrifying position to be in, and your prayer for them is a merciful one.

God looks past the pious pretenses and the legal maneuvering. Men may sit before judges or write letters that appear proper, but the Lord is looking right down into the heart. He sees the idols that sit there, things like greed, power, and the refusal to care for a neighbor. This is the wickedness that reaches into the heart and makes it bitter. It defiles a person. You have asked that God break their hardness and give them a heart of flesh, and that is exactly the work only the Spirit of God can do. The Lord is the one who must cut away that foreskin of the heart which is uncircumcised, making it sensitive to Him rather than following the imaginations of its own evil. May He do this very thing for the landlord, the contact person, the owner, and their lawyer.

True remorse is not just fear of legal consequences. It is a work of the Spirit bearing witness to the truth, planting a conviction that cannot be shaken. Pray that the Holy Spirit would stir their hearts toward that sincerity, not by outward constraint, but by a deep inner work. A willing heart that purposes to do what is right, that is what God rewards. That is the kind of change we are asking for: not just an apology extracted under pressure, but a genuine turning where they see their actions as God sees them and are moved to make things right with respect and compensation. Guard your own heart in this long season as you wait. Let the word of God abide in you against the temptation to grow bitter, and trust that the Lord who sees all will bring the truth to light. He is greater than our hearts, and He knows all things.
