Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after two months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over the grave injustices you have endured. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and blatant dishonesty displayed by those responsible for your safety are not only morally reprehensible but directly oppose the commands of Scripture. The Bible is clear that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), to act justly, and to show mercy (Micah 6:8). The callous disregard for your well-being, especially in the face of documented harm, reveals a heart in desperate need of God’s transforming power.

The attempt to falsify reports and silence your cries for justice is a grievous sin, for Proverbs 17:15 warns, "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord." We rebuke the spirit of deception and greed operating in this situation. The demand for payment while refusing to acknowledge life-threatening negligence is an affront to God’s justice. We declare that their schemes will not stand, for the Lord sees all and will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7).

We also lift up the lawyer involved in this matter. The words spoken, equating basic safety with "comfort" and threatening eviction over legitimate concerns, reveal a heart hardened by pride and a lack of compassion. Scripture tells us, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). Yet we know that God is able to soften even the most calloused heart. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

You have done what is right by documenting the dangers, seeking medical help, and standing firm in the truth. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due time you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom as you navigate this situation, whether through legal means or divine intervention. May He provide you with safe housing, just compensation, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Most of all, we pray for these individuals, landlord, contact person, owner, and lawyer, that their hearts would be broken by the weight of their actions. May they see the severity of their sin and turn to Jesus Christ, the only One who can save them from their hardness. We declare that their plans will fail, and God’s justice will prevail. We bind the spirit of greed, deception, and callousness in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to flee. We ask the Lord to replace their stony hearts with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), that they may repent, make restitution, and walk in the fear of the Lord.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts over this injustice. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, exposing every lie and bringing Your truth to light. Soften the hearts of those who have hardened themselves against You and against Your child. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness. Provide [redacted] with safety, provision, and vindication. Surround them with Your peace and remind them that You are a God who sees and hears the cries of the oppressed. We trust in Your justice, Lord, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Break the chains of greed and deception, and let Your righteousness reign in this matter. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We grieve with you over what you’ve endured, the physical danger, the electric shocks, the medical treatment and hotel stays, and then the breathtaking coldness of those who should have cared first for your safety. To be told you don’t deserve even basic repairs, while they pressed for eviction and falsified reports, is a deep injustice. We want you to know we hear that pain, and we’re asking God to move.

As you continue to seek God’s intervention in their hearts, it may also be wise to take a concrete step to protect yourself. Given the ongoing legal threats, we’d gently encourage you to connect with a local tenants’ rights organization or a lawyer who can advise you on how to document everything clearly and push back against unjust demands. You’ve already moved out, and you have medical reports and an electrician’s documentation, those are important. Having someone in your corner legally could help you navigate this with more confidence and less fear.

We also hold on to this: God is able to turn even the hardest heart into a heart of flesh. We don’t know why some choose cruelty and avoidance so stubbornly, but we do know that His Spirit can convict where no human argument can reach. So we join you in praying that they will truly see what they’ve done, feel the weight of it, and turn, for your sake and for their own souls.

Please pray with us:

Lord Jesus, we bring before You the one who wrote to us, who suffered real harm and then faced callous indifference and threats. We ask for Your protection over them still, and for complete healing of any wounds, physical, emotional, or spiritual. We ask You to break the hardness in the landlord, the contact person, the owner, and the lawyer. Haunt their consciences until they are unable to rest without remorse, apology, and just compensation. Give our friend wisdom and the right help in the face of legal pressure, and bring this whole painful situation to a just resolution that reflects Your mercy and truth. Amen.

What you have witnessed in these people is the very image of the stony heart, unfeeling, unyielding, impenetrable as adamant. Their refusal to see their own evil, to show the least compassion, their twisting of words to call a life‑threatening peril mere “comfort,” all proves that the natural heart is indeed stone. And what can your indignation, your pleading, or even the law accomplish? The law and its terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone. It is a sense of blood‑bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone.

Lift your eyes, then, from the hardness of men to the tenderness of your Lord. Remember that it is Jesus Himself who, being grieved at hardness of heart, looked round about with anger and sorrow. He knows your pain, He has borne far greater injustice, and His heart is still “meek and lowly.” Bring your bruised spirit to His bleeding heart, only that can stanch your wounds and keep your own soul from bitterness. A divided heart would be fatal to your peace; let not these wrongs make yours a heart of stone as well.

Yet despair not for these erring souls. Though you cannot soften them, He can. The covenant promise stands: “I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” It is a work of sovereign grace, beyond the power of all flesh, but nothing is too hard for God. He who caused the light to shine out of darkness can make a new heart in the most stubborn sinner. He has given a heart to know Him to multitudes who were once as hard as these.

Therefore, cease not to pray; let this trial drive you to the mercy seat with holy importunity. Ask for the Holy Spirit to shed abroad the love of God in your own heart, that you may bear this cross without fainting. Then plead that same love for your adversaries, that the goodness of God might lead them to repentance. Law and threats will only harden; but let them once behold the love of God in Jesus Christ, dying for the ungodly, and even hearts of adamant may melt. The Lord bring those piercing look of Jesus upon them, that look which, without a word, can make a proud heart bleed with remorse.

Keep your eyes on the cross, where justice and mercy meet, and there find both comfort for your own wounds and hope for those who have wronged you. The Lord turn the hearts of these people, that you may yet see a true apology, restitution, and better still, souls broken and bound up by the Healer of hearts. May He give you the grace to wait patiently and to forgive, even as you pray for their transformation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You describe hard hearts that refuse to acknowledge the wrong done. Such impenitence is terrible indeed, for when a man is neither softened by goodness nor turned back by fear, what can be harder? Yet consider the long-suffering of God. He is patient, and thereby would lead them to repentance. If He exacted immediate vengeance, none would survive; He grants a longer space that they may put off past transgressions. Do not then ask why He does not prosecute vengeance here. Instead, pray for them, not against them. Has He not commanded you to pray for your enemies? Far be it from a disciple of Christ to utter imprecations. The mouth that touches the Lord’s Body must let nothing bitter proceed. If you pray for them with a sincere heart, you shut the door against the evil one; but if you curse, you treasure up wrath for yourself.

Let every prayer of yours be accompanied with thanksgiving. Even in this affliction, give thanks that you have been counted worthy to suffer something for righteousness’ sake. And while you pray, add almsgiving, for this is the essential herb in the medicine of repentance. Water quenches fire, and alms do away with great sins. But you must also examine yourself, lest any root of bitterness spring up in you. The unforgiving will not be forgiven; how much worse to ask God not to forgive them? That is harm to yourself, not to them.

As for their hardness, remember that God is a righteous Judge. He does not overlook those who suffer wrongfully. The delay is for the sake of the faithful who are being saved. His enemies will be put under His feet in due time. Until then, make war with prayers and supplications, as Hezekiah triumphed over the Assyrian, not with weapons but by stretching forth hands to God. The Church is a spiritual bath and a court of justice; lay your cause before God there, and leave vengeance to Him. Do not let the devil hurry you into a fruitless remorse like Judas, who condemned his sin but then destroyed himself, reaping no benefit. True repentance must lead to life.

Continue to pray that these people may have a heart of flesh, that they may hear His call and submit. But if they remain unyielding, they treasure up for themselves wrath against the day of righteous judgment. Your part is to keep your own soul pure, to forgive as you have been forgiven, and to entrust yourself to the One who judges justly. Offer them the occasion for repentance by your patient endurance and meekness, not by retaliation. Then, even if they do not turn, you will have delivered your own soul, and God will receive your prayer like the cry of Abel’s blood, which spoke better things than clamor.

There is a terrifying liberty that a hard heart gives itself. It is the freedom to rename things until the conscience is completely silent. A life-threatening electrical danger is renamed "comfort." Documented injury is dismissed. The truth is covered over with a fraudulent report. What you are describing is not just negligence; it is the very nature of sin at work in a life not surrendered to God.

When I read your words, I see in these people a shadow of Cain. He was furious when God did not respect his offering, just as these people are angry at your refusal to accept their version of events. And what was at the root of Cain’s anger? It was a refusal to repent. God Himself spoke to him and said, "Sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it." Cain refused. Instead of mastering the sin, he let the sin master him and lead him to violence. These people are doing the same thing. They are blocking communication and making threats because they know they are wrong, and they hate the truth that exposes it. The lawyer's words, that you do not deserve basic safety, come from that same dark place. It is the voice of one who says, "Am I my brother’s keeper?"

This is the tragic end of a life built on rejecting God’s order. From the very beginning, God created us for a purpose: to know Him and to walk in fellowship with Him. But when a person refuses that purpose, their mind becomes corrupted. The lies begin to make sense to them. The serpent in the garden challenged God’s Word, saying, "You will not surely die." He lied by claiming that you can violate God’s natural law and not be hurt. That is the lie these people are believing right now. They think they can break the law, harm their neighbor, forge documents, and escape without consequence. They have swallowed the serpent’s original deception.

The answer is not just a legal victory, though justice matters. The answer is a new heart. That is what you are rightly praying for. You have asked that God break their hardness and give them a heart of flesh. This is exactly what God promises to do.

Right now, their spirits are dead. A dead spirit has no awareness of God and no longing for His truth. It feels no remorse because it has no point of reference outside of itself. It is like a fish that doesn’t know it’s wet; it swims in its own selfishness and calls it good. To such a person, your suffering means nothing. The only thing that can awaken them is a direct encounter with their Maker.

Continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would not let them sleep. Pray that the injustice they have committed would rot in their bones until they can find no peace. That is not a prayer for vengeance; it is a prayer for a godly sorrow that leads to repentance. We see this with the coming judgment in Noah’s day. God saw that the earth was filled with violence because humanity had corrupted its way. But He also made a way of safety in the ark. Pray that in the flood of their own guilt, they will seek the ark of Christ. Pray that their inner turmoil will become so great that they have no choice but to cry out to God for mercy.

Their choices have revealed a deeply disturbed heart, as you have seen. But never forget the creative power of the One we are praying to. The God who spoke the heavens into existence and separated the light from the darkness can do that work in a human heart. He can shine into that moral darkness. He can bring order to that spiritual chaos. He can call a dry land of repentance to appear in the middle of a sea of defiance.

It is right to pray for an apology and compensation. These are matters of justice that God cares about deeply. But even deeper, pray for their souls. When Jesus wept over Jerusalem, it was because He could see the destruction that comes from rejecting God. He did not weep for Himself, despite the pain they would cause Him. He wept for them. Try to find that place in your heart, where you see them not just as enemies but as lost people hurtling toward a disastrous end unless they submit to God’s call.

Do not let their continued silence cause you to lose heart. Two months is a long time to wait for an apology, but God’s timing is perfect. Keep holding them before the throne. Your prayers are not wasted. They are participating in a spiritual battle that these people cannot see. Keep asking for a supernatural turnaround. Keep asking that the Holy Spirit will so disturb them that they can no longer look at their own reflection without shame, until shame drives them not to more lies, but to the foot of the cross.
