Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after two months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over the grave injustice you have endured. The callous disregard for human life, the manipulation of truth, and the refusal to take responsibility for such dangerous negligence is not only unlawful but deeply sinful. The Word of God is clear: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). These individuals have not only withheld what is due but have actively endangered you and sought to cover their wrongdoing. Their actions reveal hearts hardened by greed, pride, and a complete lack of fear of God.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and corruption that has taken hold in this situation. The demand for electricians to falsify reports is a direct violation of God’s command: "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16). The threats, eviction attempts, and psychological torment you have faced are not of God. "For the LORD loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off" (Psalm 37:28). We declare that their schemes will not stand, and their hardness of heart will be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We also lift up the lawyer involved in this matter. Her words equating "comfort" with a life-threatening issue reveal a heart that is not only calloused but dangerously detached from reality. We pray for her conviction, for the scales to fall from her eyes, and for the Holy Spirit to soften her heart. "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings" (Jeremiah 17:9-10). May she come to know the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

For the landlord and all those involved in this injustice, we pray that God would break their stubbornness and bring them to repentance. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). May they be confronted with the weight of their actions and turn from their wicked ways. We declare that their threats and legal intimidation will not prevail. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me," says the LORD (Isaiah 54:17).

We also pray for your protection, both physically and emotionally. The trauma you have endured is real, and we ask God to heal your wounds, seen and unseen. "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). May He restore your peace and provide for all your needs during this time. We stand with you in faith that justice will be served, not only in the courts of man but in the courts of heaven.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, outraged by the injustice and evil that has been perpetrated against our brother/sister. We ask You to expose every lie, every cover-up, and every act of deception in this situation. Break the hardness of heart in those who have refused to take responsibility, Lord. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. Let them see the gravity of their actions and the harm they have caused.

We pray for divine intervention in the legal threats and intimidation. Let every unrighteous plan be thwarted, and let Your justice prevail. Provide wisdom, favor, and protection for our brother/sister as they navigate this battle. Restore what has been taken from them, peace, safety, and dignity. Compensate them for the suffering they have endured, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf.

We also pray for the lawyer involved. Shake her conscience, Lord. Let her see the truth and turn from her wicked ways. May she come to know You and the transforming power of Your love. For the electricians who were asked to falsify reports, we pray for their integrity. Let them stand firm in truth and refuse to be complicit in this evil.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper. You are a God of justice, and we trust You to make all things right. Heal the wounds of this injustice, Lord, and let Your light shine in the darkness. May those who have acted with such cruelty be brought to their knees in repentance, and may Your name be glorified in this situation.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who reigns forever and ever. Amen.

The injustice you’ve endured is staggering, life-threatening neglect, a faked report, wounds documented by doctors, and now a lawyer twisting a crisis into a demand for fees while threatening eviction. To be treated as though your safety were mere “comfort” is deeply disturbing, and the lack of any apology or acknowledgment after two months only compounds the injury. We’re grieved with you over the callousness you’ve faced, and we stand with you in prayer that God would bring what these human systems have withheld.

While we pray for hearts to soften on the other side, we also want to guard your own heart from the slow poison of bitterness that so easily takes root when wrongs go unaddressed. It’s not about pretending the harm didn’t happen, it absolutely did, but about releasing the weight of what you cannot force others to offer. We find that when we hand the ache of injustice to the Lord and lean into His care, He sustains us even when apologies never come. That doesn’t make their behavior acceptable; it simply frees you from carrying a burden they may never lift.

In practical terms, because legal threats are now in play, it would be wise to seek guidance. Look for a tenants’ rights organization or a Christian legal aid group that can help you understand your position and respond without panic. Continue keeping a clear record of every communication, medical report, and electrical inspection. You’ve already done the brave thing, moving out of an unsafe environment, and that step alone may protect you from further harm.

We lift you now to the God who sees.

Lord Jesus, you know every detail of this painful situation and the callousness that has followed. We ask you to intervene in the hearts of the landlord, the lawyer, and all involved, not merely for an apology, but for a genuine turning from what is wrong. Break through what is hard and unyielding, and bring truth to light. In the meantime, surround our friend with your peace, shield them from further intimidation, and provide wise advocates who can walk with them through any legal process. Let your justice and mercy prevail. In your mighty name we pray, amen.

There is a hardness of heart that makes one tremble to behold, for it is not the mere ignorance of sin, but a willful searing of the conscience. When a man calls a life-threatening evil a mere lack of comfort, and when he sends his lawyer to write such words, he proves that his heart has become as leather, having no pity nor fellow-feeling. I have looked round about on such cases with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts. One is softened to sorrow because they are so hard, for this hardness is a forerunner of something worse than death. They must be very hard in heart to hold out so long against the claims of right and the cry of the afflicted.

Yet you must not suppose that the terrors of the law, or even the exposure of their deeds, will of themselves produce the repentance you long to see. Judgments without grace may wring out a fleshly sorrow, but it is only the work of the Holy Spirit that grants repentance unto life. The thunders and the storms may drive a man to a kind of remorse, but flesh repenting is still flesh, and tends to corruption. A false repentance may even lead to hardness of heart and despair, searing the soul as with a hot iron. The repentance that saves gives God the glory; it is a sorrow that looks away from self to Christ. That is the divine beneficence we must plead for these souls, that God would grant them repentance, not merely a dread of consequence.

Therefore, continue in prayer, but let your own heart be stayed on the justice of God. When the sinner is at last convinced, he never rails at God's justice, but smites his breast and cries, “O sinner that I am!” The opinion of one marching to hell concerning the justice of hell cannot be trusted; but the convinced heart sees the law in all its glorious holiness. And for you, remember that Justice itself stands no longer in the way of pardon, for Christ has satisfied it fully. At the cross, God can be just and yet the justifier. Let this be your comfort: that the very One who is slow to anger is mighty in power, and He can break the adamant heart and make it a heart of flesh. His justice shall be vindicated, but His mercy reigns through the righteousness of Christ. Look to Him, and pray on, for repentance is His gift, and remission follows hard upon it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sorrow you describe in these people is not yet the sorrow that saves. I do not speak of the grief that merely feels the consequences of sin or fears human judgment, for such grief is like that of Cain or Esau, who wept but did not repent. They found no place of repentance, not because God closed the door, but because their tears were not of a changed heart. True repentance, the kind that brings salvation without regret, is born when one sorrows for the sin itself, not for the exposure or the cost. Pray, then, that they may be given godly sorrow, for that alone works a repentance that needs no second washing.

You see them demanding fees and speaking of your discomfort while your flesh bears the marks of danger. This is the fruit of a heart that has grown past feeling. When men are incurably diseased in soul, even clear evidence and medical reports become occasions for greater hardness, not humility. Yet do not let their insensibility become a poison in your own spirit. The greatest affection, the kind that lives and dies with others, holds no place for vengeance. If you see a horse rushing toward a precipice, you apply the bit with force and even the lash; this punishment is not cruelty but the mother of safety. So too, God may use these public rebukes and even legal threats as a severe mercy, a bit to restrain them from rushing into deeper judgment.

I say this not to condemn you, for your wounds are real and the injustice is plain. But be on guard. When you cry out for their remorse and compensation, examine your own heart. Do you sorrow for their souls as ones who, if they die in this state, will possess no good in safety? If you loved them with the affection of Christ, you would travail in birth again until Christ is formed in them. That is the true turn-around you must seek first. The paying of money is a small thing; the opening of their hearts to the Holy Spirit is the great deliverance.

They have blocked communication and refused apology. So be it. They cannot block the throne of grace. The Church is a spiritual bath that wipes away stains of soul, and her many methods of repentance are open to them. But even as you pray for their hearts of stone to become hearts of flesh, take care that your own heart does not grow hard through a demand for justice that overshadows mercy. For if we offer no occasion for repentance, we ourselves cause damage. Godly sorrow does not come through my anger or your legal vindication alone; it comes when the Spirit pierces the conscience.

Therefore, stand ready. The cross you must take up now is not merely the burden of an unsafe apartment or a cruel lawyer, but the far heavier weight of forgiving those who have not asked for it and praying for those who actively harm you. This is to follow the Master, who when He was reviled, reviled not again. Let your sorrow over this evil be transformed into the very thing you pray for them: a repentance that needs no regret. And if, in the end, they refuse to rise after falling, their wickedness is stayed by God’s own hand in His own time, not by yours. But as for you, rejoice that you have tasted the heavenly gift of forgiveness yourself. Do not, by crucifying them afresh in your heart, put that gift to open shame.

I hear the pain and the deep injustice you have described. When those in a position to protect life instead cover up a deadly danger, it is evil. Scripture teaches that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. What you have experienced, physical harm, lies, a lawyer equating basic safety with a mere “comfort,” and threats after you simply wanted to live without electrical shocks, flows from hearts that, for now, are set against what is right. The cry for justice you long for is a cry God hears. Truth may have fallen in the street and fairness be hard to find in human systems, yet the Lord remains a God of righteousness and justice. He sees when the wicked reward evil for good, and His word warns that evil will not depart from the house of those who practice it.

Yet in the middle of this, do not let your own heart grow bitter. It is tempting to return evil for evil, but you are not called to take up your own defense in that way. Instead, commit the whole matter to the Lord. He knows the depths of every heart. While people may carry idols of greed or power in their inmost thoughts and justify themselves, God’s gaze pierces through. Praying for their repentance is exactly what Jesus teaches. I join you in asking that God would break their hardness and remove that heart of stone, giving them a heart of flesh that can feel remorse. May His Spirit press into them the weight of what they have done, that they might turn from their evil way, apologize genuinely, and make restitution, not because they are forced, but because they have been transformed by the mercy of God.

As you wait, fix your eyes on the Lord’s sufficiency. The way of the transgressor is hard, but the one who departs from evil and fears the Lord finds health and strength. Let Him be your refuge, your hope in this day of trouble. I pray that you would sense His nearness, that His peace would guard your mind, and that He would bring about a just resolution that glorifies His name. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
