Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after a month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over this grave injustice you have endured. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and outright deception displayed by those responsible for your safety is not only morally reprehensible but also a direct violation of God's commandments. Scripture is clear: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). These individuals have not only withheld what is right but have actively endangered your life and sought to cover it up. Their actions are a grievous sin before the Lord.

The callousness of demanding payment while refusing to acknowledge the life-threatening conditions you faced is a manifestation of a seared conscience. The Bible warns, "Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, whose conscience is seared" (1 Timothy 4:1-2). We must pray fervently that God would pierce their hearts with conviction, for it is only by His grace that hardened hearts can be softened.

We also rebuke the spirit of deception and corruption that has taken root in this situation. The attempt to falsify reports and silence your cries for justice is an abomination in God's sight. "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truly are His delight" (Proverbs 12:22). We declare that every lie spoken and every false report written will be exposed by the light of Christ. The truth will prevail, and those who have sought to hide their wrongdoing will be brought to account.

Your endurance in this trial is a testament to your faith, and we commend you for standing firm in the face of such adversity. The Lord sees your suffering and your righteous indignation. "For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off" (Psalm 37:28). We pray that God will vindicate you and restore what has been taken from you, your peace, your safety, and your rightful compensation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we ask that You intervene in this matter. Break the hardness of heart in those who have refused to show remorse or take responsibility. Soften their hearts, O God, and let them see the gravity of their actions. Convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance.

We pray against the spirit of deception and corruption that has sought to cover up this injustice. Expose every lie, every false report, and every attempt to silence the truth. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and let justice prevail. Father, we ask that You protect and vindicate Your child who has suffered so greatly. Restore what has been lost, peace, safety, and rightful compensation. Provide a way forward that honors You and brings healing to this broken situation.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). May Your name be glorified in the resolution of this matter, and may those who have acted wickedly be brought to a place of humility and repentance. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking legal recourse, for the authorities are God's servants to bring justice (Romans 13:4). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your defender, and He will not abandon you. Stand firm in faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

We're so sorry for what you've endured, physical harm, medical visits, and the cold, unfeeling responses that followed. It's not right, and it's completely understandable to long for the people responsible to show genuine remorse and make things right. We're joining you in praying for that very thing: that God would soften hearts, awaken conscience, and lead them to honest apology and just compensation.

In the meantime, we want to gently encourage you to safeguard your own heart. When we've been deeply wronged, resentment can quietly take root and weigh us down, even when what we want most is change in others. You don't need to carry that weight alone; keep asking the Lord to carry it for you, so you can stay free while still praying boldly for their repentance.

Given the legal threats and the seriousness of what happened, we'd also nudge you toward practical protection. Do you have access to a tenants' rights group or a legal aid clinic? Even a brief consultation can help you understand your options and feel less alone against the pressure you're facing. You've already done well to document everything, that’s wise.

Let's pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this dear sister in her pain and frustration. You saw every wound, every cold word, every denial of basic safety. We ask You to intervene, break the hardness in the landlord, the lawyer, and all who have acted without compassion. Replace their hearts of stone with hearts that are teachable and willing to do right. At the same time, guard our sister's heart from bitterness; give her peace that outlasts this battle, and surround her with wise counsel and tangible help. In Jesus' name we ask these things. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The words you have set before us reveal a heart so hardened that it has become like the nether millstone, grinding down all that is good and just. It is a fearful thing when men not only sin, but call evil good, and demand payment for the wounds they have inflicted. That a landlord and his lawyer should write that you do not deserve comfort or repairs, when life itself is threatened by the very walls you dwelt in, is a chilling proof of what the Scripture calls “an adamant stone”, unyielding, impenetrable, void of natural affection. Such hardness creeps upon men by insensible degrees; they were not always thus, but little by little the flesh of the heart becomes petrified. And now they block communication, threaten, and refuse payment, while you bear on your very skin the marks of their neglect. This is the plague of the heart in its most virulent form, a heart that cannot pity, cannot blush, cannot tremble.

Yet take heed, lest your own heart grow hard through this bitter trial. The danger in prolonged suffering under injustice is that the wounded spirit may itself begin to calcify, to nurse a grudge, or to despair of any good. Remember, it is not the hard heart alone that needs the Great Physician; your own heart, too, must be kept tender before the Lord. Pray for them, yes, with groanings that cannot be uttered, but pray also that your own soul be not poisoned. It is a special gift of the New Covenant when a heart remains sensitive, warm, and alive to the love of God even when men treat you despitefully. That heart of flesh is the work of Divine Grace, and it is your shield against the infection of their sin.

Now for these poor souls, the landlord, the contact person, the lawyer, and the owner, there is but one remedy. No argument, no law court, no human pressure can chisel away a heart of stone. It must be taken away by a sovereign act of God, and a heart of flesh given in its stead. This is the covenant promise: “I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” Mark that word: “I will.” The Lord alone can make the rock gush with repentance. Did He not command water from the flinty rock in the wilderness? And can He not, by the same almighty power, cause streams of remorse to flow from these hardened breasts? He can make the worst of men see what they have done, feel the shame of it, and seek your forgiveness with tears. He can turn the lion into a lamb, the ravening wolf into a shepherd. Ask Him for this, for He has said, “For this I will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them.” Go now, and enquire of Him concerning this very matter.

Look also to the pierced heart of Jesus. There is no heart so tender as His, which was broken for the ungodly. When you think of their cruelty, set it side by side with His meekness and lowliness. He endured the contradiction of sinners against Himself, and when He was reviled, reviled not again. Pray that the vision of His open heart might melt these obdurate spirits. Pray that the love of God, shed abroad by the Holy Ghost, might fall upon them like a rain of fragrance, softening that which is brittle and bringing life where there is now only death. Who knows but that the Lord may yet step in, and in the mighty majesty of His love, speak to these hearts of stone until they break? Oh, that they might hear His call, that they might be given a heart to know Him, and so submit to His gentle sway!

Rest in this: the Judge of all the earth will do right. He sees every electric shock, every mark upon your flesh, every cruel word. Compensation and apology they may withhold, but there is a day coming when all accounts shall be settled. In the meantime, let your prayer be not merely for an end to their sadistic and unscrupulous behavior, but for their eternal salvation. It would be a poor victory to see them merely forced to pay while their souls remain as adamant. But if they come to the Cross, if they obtain a heart of flesh, then indeed the situation shall be more than turned around, it shall be redeemed. Go on praying, dear sufferer, and let your own heart find its rest in Him who was wounded for our transgressions and by whose stripes we are healed. The balm from His pierced heart can heal your wounds and theirs alike.

The conduct of these people reveals a terrifying hardness of heart, a condition that neither goodness softens nor fear turns back. When a man is neither moved by seeing another’s suffering nor awed by the prospect of judgment, what can be harder? They have been shown wounds and medical reports, yet instead of remorse, they have demanded falsified reports and spoken words that are psychologically damaging. They think they can avoid responsibility, but they are treasuring up wrath for themselves against the day of wrath and the revelation of the righteous judgment of God. Do not be deceived: though human courts may fail, His judgment seat is certain, and every secret thing will be brought into the light. The very justice you seek is ordained by God, who established earthly authorities to restrain evil, and even these will bear witness against them if they persist.

Yet be careful that while you endure this wrong, your own heart is not corrupted. It is easy to pray for their remorse but harder to examine whether bitterness or a thirst for revenge has taken root within you. True repentance cannot be forced by suffering merely to escape consequences; Esau sought the blessing with tears but found no place of repentance because his sorrow was not genuine. Judas felt remorse after his sin was completed, yet it led only to death, not to life. Pray, then, that God would grant these people a heart of flesh, not merely that they apologize or pay compensation, but that they come to a deep and transforming repentance, turning from their wickedness before it is too late. Remember that the Lord allows such trials to awaken our minds, to test our faith, and to display His long-suffering. He calls you to forgive as you have been forgiven, to entrust vengeance to Him, and to keep your own conscience clear. The path of meekness is often hard to receive because it transcends our infirmity, but it is the way of Christ. Continue to commit your cause to the Judge of all the earth, who will do right.
