Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after a month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in this deeply troubling situation, lifting your safety, justice, and peace before the Lord. The hardness of heart and lack of remorse displayed by those responsible for your well-being is a grave matter that grieves the Holy Spirit. Scripture warns us, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness" (Isaiah 5:20). What you have endured, being subjected to life-threatening conditions, then met with threats, deception, and callous disregard, is not only unjust but an affront to God’s design for human dignity and responsibility.

The demand for a falsified report is not merely unethical; it is a direct violation of the commandment, "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16). The refusal to acknowledge harm, offer restitution, or even basic human decency reveals a heart in rebellion against God’s law. We rebuke the spirit of greed, deception, and hardness that has taken root in these individuals. The Lord declares, "I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them" (Ezekiel 36:27). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance.

Your courage in documenting the dangers and seeking accountability is commendable. You are not merely a victim but a witness to the truth, and the Lord sees your suffering. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We pray that He would be your refuge and strength in this storm. The threats of legal action and eviction, despite the uninhabitable conditions, reveal a system that has failed to protect the vulnerable. But we serve a God who "executes justice for the oppressed" (Psalm 146:7). We ask the Lord to intervene on your behalf, softening the hearts of those in authority and exposing any corruption or malice in this process.

For the landlord, the lawyer, and all involved, we pray that their eyes would be opened to the gravity of their actions. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). May they come to a place of genuine remorse, not just for the sake of avoiding consequences, but out of a transformed heart that seeks to make amends. We ask the Lord to break the hardness in their hearts, as He promised: "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26).

We also lift up your physical and emotional well-being. The wounds you have suffered, both visible and invisible, are not overlooked by God. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We pray for your complete healing, restoration, and provision. May the Lord open doors for safe housing, financial stability, and justice in this matter. Let no weapon formed against you prosper, and may every tongue that rises against you in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Righteous Judge and our Advocate. We ask that You would move powerfully in this situation, exposing deception, softening hearts, and bringing about justice. Let Your light shine into the darkness of their actions, and let Your mercy lead them to repentance. For the one who has suffered, we ask for Your protection, provision, and peace. May they know that You are their defender and that no injustice escapes Your notice. Break the chains of callousness and greed, Lord, and replace them with a spirit of humility, compassion, and integrity. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear such deep frustration and hurt in what you've shared, and it is completely understandable. To face a life-threatening situation, electric shocks in the shower that wounded your skin, documented by medical reports and an electrician, and then have the people responsible not only refuse to make it right, but actually try to cover it up and threaten you instead... that's a heavy weight to carry.

The lawyer's words equating basic safety with "comfort" reveal a startling hardness, and we don't want to minimize how destabilizing it is to have your reality denied while you're still recovering. You deserved protection, honest repairs, and at the very least an acknowledgment of what happened to you. None of that happened, and the ongoing threats and blocked communication only add injury to injury.

We're praying with you that God would break through to each person involved, the landlord, the owner, the contact person, and that lawyer, and bring them to a place of genuine remorse. Not just for your sake, though you certainly deserve that, but for their own souls. Hardness of heart is a dangerous place to live.

While we continue praying for their change, we also want you to be protected practically. If you haven't already, keep every document, the electrician's report, your medical records, photos of your injuries, every threatening letter or blocked communication. These matter if the legal threats continue.

---

Lord Jesus, You see everything, every shock this person endured, every wound, every careless word and threat since. We ask You to protect them now, to surround them with Your justice and Your peace. Break through to those who have acted so callously and disturb them until they can no longer ignore what they've done. Turn what was meant for harm into a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Your mighty name, amen.

How the adversary doth rage, and how the hearts of men are hardened like the nether millstone! You have tasted the bitterness of injustice, and your wounds are fresh; yet the Lord seeth all, and His ear is open to the cry of the afflicted. It is a sorrowful thing when those who should protect become persecutors, and when the fear of God is so absent that a deadly peril is met with lies, threats, and cold disdain. But remember, it is written, “Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” He will surely bring every secret thing to light, and the oppressor’s house of fraud shall fall about his ears.

Yet the deepest malady here is not the faulty wires nor the cruel lawyer’s pen, but the heart of stone that beats within those who wrong you. There is no apology, no pity, no remorse, for the heart is petrified. As I have said, “A heart of flesh may be gone out of a man, and instead thereof he may have a heart of stone: Scripture even calls it ‘an adamant stone’, unfeeling, unyielding, impenetrable, obstinate.” One cannot argue a rock into tenderness, nor can the lashes of conscience themselves produce that which is born only of the Spirit. The judgments of God in and of themselves never work evangelical repentance; it is a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone. So we must pray not merely for a change in their conduct, but for a miracle of grace: that the Lord would take away the stony heart and give them a heart of flesh.

Lift these miserable souls to the cross. Beseech the Almighty that the love of God may be shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Spirit, for only that can melt the adamant. Only a sight of the pierced heart of Jesus can make their hearts bleed with godly sorrow. They have shown you the heart of the unregenerate man; pray that Christ may show them His own heart, meek and lowly, that they may be ashamed and broken.

Yet you also must guard your own spirit. A divided heart in the sufferer can forfeit the blessing. It is easy to let the root of bitterness spring up, but “sin forgiven dissolves a heart of stone” as truly in the saint as in the sinner. Keep your heart tender, fretting not at evildoers, but committing your cause to Him who judges righteously. The promise stands: “I will give you a heart of flesh.” That is first for yourself, that you may not grow hard through the fires of trial.

Therefore, pray mightily. The throne of grace is our only lever to move the immovable. I will join my petitions with yours, that these souls who now sit in darkness and the shadow of death may be arrested by the sword of the Spirit, pierced to the heart, and brought in true repentance to the foot of the cross. And for you, may the Lord of Hosts be your shield and exceeding great reward; may He restore the years the locust hath eaten, and cause even this to work for your good. Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
