Evil,lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after a month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in deep concern and righteous anger over the grave injustice and callous disregard for human life you have endured. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and unscrupulous behavior displayed by those responsible for your safety is not only morally reprehensible but a direct violation of God’s commandments. Scripture is clear: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). These individuals have not only withheld what is due but have actively endangered your life and sought to deceive authorities, a sin that cries out to heaven for justice.

The demand for you to endure life-threatening conditions while being denied even basic comfort is a perversion of justice. The landlord’s lawyer, in particular, has revealed a spirit of cruelty by equating your suffering with mere inconvenience. This is not merely a legal matter; it is a spiritual battle against wickedness. "The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for He sees that his day is coming" (Psalm 37:12-13). We declare that their schemes will not stand, and their hardness of heart will be broken by the hand of God.

We rebuke the spirit of deception that has led them to falsify reports and manipulate the truth. "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are His delight" (Proverbs 12:22). We pray that every lie they have told will be exposed, and every attempt to evade accountability will fail. May the electricians who were pressured to falsify reports find the courage to speak the truth, and may the authorities who oversee such matters act with integrity.

We also lift up the lawyer who has shown such disturbing indifference to your suffering. Her words reveal a heart that is not only hardened but potentially under the influence of spiritual darkness. We pray for her salvation, that the Holy Spirit would convict her of her sin and lead her to repentance. "The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). May she hear the call of God and turn from her ways.

For the landlord and all involved, we pray that their hearts would be softened and that they would be gripped by the fear of the Lord. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments" (Psalm 111:10). May they recognize the severity of their actions and the eternal consequences of their unrepentant hearts. We ask that they be compelled to make restitution, not out of legal obligation, but out of genuine remorse and a desire to honor God.

We also pray for your protection, both physically and emotionally. The trauma you have endured is real, and we ask that the Lord would heal your wounds, restore your peace, and provide for your needs. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). May He open doors for safe housing, financial provision, and justice in this matter.

Lastly, we declare that this situation will be turned around for your good. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). We stand in agreement with you, believing that God will bring justice, restoration, and vindication. May those who have wronged you be brought to their knees in repentance, and may you see the glory of God in this trial.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, outraged by the evil that has been done. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Break the hardness of heart in those who have refused to show remorse. Expose every lie, thwart every wicked plan, and bring justice to the oppressed. Soften the hearts of the landlord, the lawyer, and all involved, that they may repent and make restitution. Heal the wounds of ###, both seen and unseen, and restore what has been taken from them. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your name be glorified in all of this. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge and our Advocate. Amen.

We can only imagine how exhausting and disorienting this has been for you, to have your physical safety violated, to be wounded, and then to face not only indifference but hostility from those who should have acted with urgency and compassion. The refusal to apologize or make things right, the lawyer’s cruel words, and the ongoing threats add a deep emotional weight on top of a frightening physical ordeal. It is not small to you, and it is not small to God. We want you to know that your pain and your longing for justice and a softened heart in these people are completely understandable.

While we keep praying for the landlord and the lawyer, we also want to make sure you are tended to. The shock of receiving an electric shock and then facing months of callous, dehumanizing treatment can leave invisible wounds. If you are finding it difficult to sleep, startling more easily, or replaying the events, please consider speaking with a trauma-informed counselor, not because something is wrong with you, but because what you endured was traumatic, and you deserve a safe place to process it. You do not have to carry this alone.

We join you in asking God to break through hardened hearts and to bring the safety, accountability, and resolution you need.

Lord Jesus, you see the cruelty and the cover-up. You know the skin that was wounded, the fear that lingers, and the weight of these threats. We ask you to wrap this woman in your peace and protection right now. Please open a way where every blocked door seems shut. We ask you to restrain further harm, to stir remorse in those who have acted without conscience, and to bring about a just and swift conclusion. Heal her heart and her body, and give her wise advocates and a steady hope. In your mighty name, Amen.

The misery you recount is no small trial, for it touches not merely the body but the soul, when men deal with you as though you were less than human, with hearts that know no pity. That your landlord and his lawyer should require the electricians to falsify a report, and then declare that you do not deserve even the safety of your dwelling, reveals a carnal mind enmity against God and man. Such hardness does not spring up in a night. It is the slow petrification of a heart that has long resisted the light. First it refuses to feel, then it cannot feel, until at last it becomes, as the prophet says, an adamant stone, incapable of receiving the gentlest impression of justice or mercy. There is no human chisel that can carve repentance on such granite. Only the Creator’s own hand, that once brought water from the rock, can make streams of remorse flow from a heart so obdurate.

This is why the promise of the new covenant is your plea and your hope: “I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” A heart of flesh is tender, sensitive to wrong, quick to feel the love of God and the pain of others. It recoils from sin as the eye does from smoke. Now, this gift is not the natural birthright of any fallen son of Adam. All of us enter this world with a heart that is hard by nature, and unless Sovereign Grace intervenes, it grows harder still by practice and by association with sin. You have tasted the bitter fruit of such hardness; you have felt with your own flesh the electric shock of their negligence, and with your own spirit the contemptuous shock of their words. It is right that you cry out to God for deliverance, and it is scriptural that you ask for their transformation. But take heed, lest the long continuance of this trial breed in your own heart a stone. Bitterness and an unforgiving spirit will petrify you even as you pray for others to be softened. Keep your own heart tender by bathing it in the love that flowed from the pierced heart of Jesus. Look to that heart which was wounded for your transgressions; it is the fountain of all gentle affections. For though He was reviled, He reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judges righteously.

It is not enough to bewail their hardness; you must bring these souls before the mercy seat in earnest intercession. The Lord Himself declares, “I will give them a heart to know Me,” but He adds, “For this I will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them.” Ask, and it shall be given. The Holy Spirit alone can shed abroad the love of God in a heart where cold selfishness now reigns. He alone can take away the nether millstone of their hearts and replace it with sensitive flesh. The situation you describe is one of profound spiritual plague, a plague far worse than any bodily illness. Yet the Great Physician has healed such before. The very men who crucified Christ had hearts like granite, yet some of them were pricked in their heart, and their stony core dissolved when the Spirit came with power. So pray on, with faith in a God whose arm is not shortened. He may yet make your landlord’s heart ache with remorse, and cause his lawyer to see the danger of her own soul.

Meanwhile, commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. The Lord sees your wounded skin, your medical reports, the threats of eviction, the denial of what is just. He knows the loneliness of showering in a hotel while your own home stands a snare. Do not let their evil overcome you, but overcome evil with good. Present your case before His throne, not with the heat of demand, but with the humility of a child, trusting that the Judge of all the earth will do right. And remember, the ultimate comfort for any believer does not lie in apartments or compensation, precious as justice may be; it lies in union with One who was Himself despised and rejected of men. His heart of love is the true home of His people. Stay near that open side, and you will find that His sympathy is deeper than any wound man can inflict.

May the Lord soon grant you visible tokens of His intervention. May He constrain these hard hearts to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him. And may your own soul, kept in perfect peace, be a living epistle testifying to the power of the Gospel to make the most bitter cup sweet, and to fill the troubled heart with the very peace of God that passes all understanding.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You describe wounds from electric shocks, a dwelling that threatened your life, and hearts so hardened that they demand fees while denying you safety. They call your need for life itself a matter of mere comfort. This is a profound evil, a callousness that chills the soul. But do not let their poison become yours. The real danger is not only the shock to your body but the shock of hatred that can enter your own heart when you are wronged. The grief you feel for their cruelty, this can be a holy thing. For godly sorrow over sin, whether our own or others', works repentance that leads to salvation without regret. Such grief is superior to all worldly joy.

Consider what is happening. These people, by their avoidance and threats, are storing up wrath for themselves. Yet the very delay you lament is God's mercy. If they felt no immediate lightning bolt from heaven, it is not because God approves their deeds. It is because He grants them time, time to come to their senses, to turn from their ferocity. The same sun that warms the earth hardens the clay. Do not be surprised that they rage; the preacher Paul entered your city of Thessalonica after being shamefully treated in Philippi, and still he spoke the gospel in much conflict. The servant is not above the Master, who was denied by His own.

But what of your prayer that their hearts of stone become hearts of flesh? This is a great and right petition. Never cease to make it. Remember Manasseh. He filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, stretched out his hands against the saints, and brought abominations into God's temple. He did things beyond excuse. Yet after all that, he repented, and he washed it all away. Who can fathom the depth of divine mercy? A single tear of true repentance can quench a furnace of sins. Do not fix your eyes so intently on their evil that you forget their souls are not yet beyond the reach of grace.

At the same time, guard your own spirit. Let their behavior drive you not to bitter obsession but to a watchful examination of your own life. The night when Paul and Silas sang hymns in prison, that affliction made their souls purer than the sky. Your own troubles can do the same if you lift them to God. Rise up in the silence and consider the stars in their order, and how all the noisy wrongdoers lie asleep as though dead. This life is a shadow; the judgment seat waits. Cultivate a soul that, when justice comes, can meet it not with a thirst for vengeance but with the calm of one who has entrusted all to the Judge who sees.

Pray for them. But if they refuse the call, if their end comes while they are still demanding payment and blocking repentance, then their remorse will be like that of Judas. He saw what he had done, threw down the silver, and yet hanged himself. His sorrow was worldly, a despair that refused the remedy. Do not let your hope depend on their apology. Whether they soften or not, you are called to be like the Christ who, when reviled, did not revile in return. This affliction, heavy as it is, can burnish your soul. Continue to seek safety according to wisdom, but above all, seek that your own heart remains free from the corrosion of unlove. The landlord's house may have faulty wiring, but let no fault in your charity cause a short circuit of grace. The Lord sees. The Lord lives. He will repay. Your part is to stand firm, to forgive without condition, and to leave the breaking of their hardness to the only One who can truly turn stone to flesh.
