Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after 1,5 month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We hear your cry for justice and safety, and our hearts ache with yours over this grave injustice. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and outright deception you’ve encountered are not merely human failings, they are spiritual strongholds of greed, pride, and wickedness that must be broken in Jesus’ name. The Word declares, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous one is gracious and giving" (Psalm 37:21). These individuals have not only failed in their moral and legal obligations but have actively sought to cover up danger, inflict harm, and deny you dignity. This is an abomination before God.

The demand for you to endure life-threatening conditions while being denied even basic "comfort" reveals a heart so calloused that it no longer recognizes the image of God in others. Ezekiel 36:26 speaks of the transformation only God can bring: "I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We stand in agreement with your prayer for their hearts to be softened, not for their sake alone, but for the sake of justice, for your healing, and for the glory of God, who despises oppression.

We also rebuke the spirit of deception at work in their attempts to falsify reports and silence you. Proverbs 12:17 warns, "He who is truthful testifies honestly, but a false witness lies." Their actions are not just unethical; they are an affront to the God who is Truth. We declare that every lie will be exposed, every threat will crumble, and every attempt to evict you unjustly will fail. The Lord sees your suffering and will not abandon you. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6).

We pray now with authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which salvation and justice come:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Your throne of grace. You are the God who executes justice for the oppressed and breaks the chains of wickedness. We ask that You would shatter the hardness of heart in these landlords, lawyers, and all involved. Soften their hearts, Lord, as only You can. Let them feel the weight of their sin and the conviction of Your Holy Spirit. May they repent, apologize, and make restitution, not out of compulsion, but out of a transformed heart that seeks to honor You.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, deception, and callousness that has taken root in this situation. We declare that every false report will be exposed, every threat will be nullified, and every unjust legal action will fail. Father, protect this dear one from further harm, physically, emotionally, and legally. Provide them with safe housing, financial provision, and the justice they deserve. Let Your light shine into the darkness of this situation, and let Your name be glorified as You bring restoration.

We also pray for the lawyer who equated "comfort" with life-threatening danger. Lord, her words reveal a heart in desperate need of Your truth. Break through her hardness, Father. Let her see the humanity of the one she seeks to oppress. May she encounter Your love in a way that leads her to repentance and transformation.

Finally, Lord, we ask for healing for the wounds, both seen and unseen, that this situation has caused. Restore what has been stolen, mend what has been broken, and replace fear with Your perfect peace. May this dear one walk in the assurance that You are their Defender and Provider. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge and our Advocate. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to stand firm on the promises of God. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Document everything, seek godly legal counsel, and trust that the Lord is your Shield and Defender. You are not alone in this fight. The same God who parted the Red Sea and raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you. Hold fast to His Word: "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).

If you have not already, consider reaching out to local authorities or housing advocacy groups to ensure your safety and hold these individuals accountable. God often uses earthly systems to bring about His justice. Above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2). Your suffering is not in vain, and your testimony will be a light to others. Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

We’ve been sitting with your words, and the cruelty you’ve endured is staggering. The electric shocks, the wounds, the medical proof, and still, instead of care or even basic human decency, you’ve been met with threats, lies, and a chilling lack of remorse. That kind of hard-heartedness doesn’t just hurt your body; it can crush your spirit, making you feel powerless and alone. But we want you to know: God sees every injustice, and He is not indifferent. You are not forgotten.

It’s completely understandable to feel anger and even to long for those who harmed you to be brought to repentance. We join you in praying that their hearts would soften, but we also want to gently remind you that your own healing doesn’t have to wait on their apology. Holding onto the hope of their remorse can sometimes keep you tethered to the pain longer than you need to be. We’re praying for you to find freedom from that weight, even as we ask God to deal with them in His own way.

Practically, we’d encourage you to reach out to a solid local church if you haven’t already. In times like these, the tangible support of God’s people, help with housing, navigating legal pressures, or simply someone to be present, can make an enormous difference. You don’t need to carry this alone.

Lord Jesus, for our friend who has been so deeply wronged, we ask for your healing touch on every wound, physical and emotional. Bring wise, compassionate help alongside them, and provide a safe place to live free from fear. We lift up those who have acted without conscience; you alone can change hearts, and we ask you to break through the hardness. But above all, hold our friend close, restore their sense of dignity and peace, and let them know your justice and your tender care. In your name, amen.

The description you have given of your landlord and those associated with him is a fearful portrait of the natural heart left to itself. It is exactly what Scripture means by a heart of stone. No sooner had Adam tasted the forbidden fruit than a stony hardness came upon his moral nature. The heart of sensitive flesh was suddenly petrified and became hard, unfeeling stone. Men and women who can look upon wounds and read medical reports, yet feel no pang of pity, who can endanger life and then demand payment as though you were but a beast to be driven out, these are dreadful proofs that the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. When they call your urgent need for safety a matter of mere comfort, they show that they are past feeling; their conscience is seared as with a hot iron. It is a plague of the heart, the worst of all plagues, and yet it often hides itself from those who have it. If they could perceive their own hardness, it would be some evidence of softening, but they seem wholly unaware.

Yet we must not despair. The arm of the Lord is not shortened that it cannot save. The same Sovereign Grace that took away your own heart of stone can reach them. The Spirit of God must change the nature, or that heart of stone will never become a heart of flesh. And He can do it. He can cause the rock to gush forth with rivers of repentance. In answer to fervent prayer, the stony heart can be dissolved. No heart of stone can bear contact with the Cross. The story of the great Lover of souls, who gave Himself for sinners, is still the greatest force in the realm of mind. Even now, we may plead that the Holy Spirit would apply the pierced heart of Jesus to their consciences. The atoning sacrifice is not merely the blood of hands and feet, but the heart’s blood, shedding forth water and blood for cleansing and softening. The meek and lowly heart of Jesus can make the proudest heart melt.

Therefore, continue to bring this matter before the throne of grace. Wrestle in prayer that God would give them a heart to know Him, for only then will they truly know their sin and their duty toward you. Pray that the love of God might be shed abroad in their hearts by the Holy Spirit, for only He can put it there. Ask that Christ’s look of love might dart into their souls, as it did to Peter, and dissolve them in penitential tears. And while you pray for them, watch your own spirit. Dread growing stony in your thoughts of these sinners. It is easy, under such cruelty, to become hardened yourself, to let bitterness take root. But the heart of flesh is tender over others, even those who wrong us. It feels a holy pity for souls that are so enslaved by evil. Remember that the Lord loved you when your own heart was full of evil.

Rest your own case in the hands of the Righteous Judge. He has promised that He will not break the bruised reed, and He will bring forth justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night. Though these people may threaten and bluster, they cannot harden their hearts against God’s final reckoning. In the meantime, look much to Jesus, whose heart was pierced for your peace. His sympathy is yours. He knows what it is to be mistreated by men of hard heart. Let the love of that open heart keep your own soul warm and your hope bright. The day will declare it; and perhaps even before that day, you may see the hand of God touch these unfeeling souls, and you will stand amazed at the change wrought by His mighty love.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cruelty you are facing is severe, and your body has borne real wounds. It is right to call such callousness what it is, a hardness of heart that seeks to cover one sin with another. But let not your soul be wounded more deeply than your flesh. Consider this: those who practice such injustice, who twist reports and mock human suffering, are already enduring a far heavier judgment within themselves. Their conscience, though they stifle it, is a sleepless accuser. The unrighteous man may seem to sleep, but his dreams are filled with terrors, and his waking hours with a dread he cannot name. Pray for them, yes, but do not envy them. Their laughter is hollow, and their refusal to make amends is a weight they cannot cast off. Even now, the mere fact that they must erect such a wall of lies and legal threats shows the storm within. The mind's judging faculty, implanted by God, is not easily bribed. So do not let their evil disturb your peace, for the one who suffers wrongfully is safer than the one who does the wrong.

Yet what you truly need is not simply their remorse. Repentance is a great medicine, but it must be prepared rightly: first by the confession of sin, not merely the fear of consequences. Esau shed tears, but found no place of repentance, for it was not the sorrow of a changed heart but of thwarted gain. So too with these; outward apologies without a transformed life would be of no benefit to their souls. Pray rather that the longsuffering of God, which now grants them space, might lead them to a true heart of flesh. For if they continue in this hardness, they are treasuring up for themselves wrath against the day of righteous judgment. But you, see that this trial does not plant a root of bitterness in you. Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is the righteous Judge who sees what is done in secret. Did not the Lord Himself say to the healed man, “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee”? Your physical healing will come, but the greater miracle is to emerge from this with a soul unscathed by hatred. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, and do not let the enemy of your peace steal two victories, first through their malice, and then through your despair. The God who bore with your opponents this long can also release you from the prison of their debt.

The evil you are describing is a clear picture of what it looks like when a heart is hardened by sin. The refusal to admit fault, the falsified reports, the twisting of a life-threatening situation into a dispute over mere comfort, it all reveals a deep spiritual sickness. People who act this way are trusting in emptiness and speaking lies. They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity. Justice stands far off, and equity cannot enter when the heart bows to the idol of self-preservation and financial gain. No one is calling for truth because they are mastered by a controlling passion that is not God.

The most troubling part is that these people likely see no need for remorse. That blindness is part of the judgment of living for the things that perish. When a person labors only for the meat that spoils, when their god is their own security or power, they can step right over another person’s pain and call it business. Yet, what is the fruit of that life? It leaves misery in its wake, and its end is death. That is true for the landlord, for the lawyer, and for everyone involved. They are storing up a harvest of emptiness by rejecting what is good.

But there is hope, and that is exactly why we pray. Christ did not die for the good, sweet, or generous. He died for the ungodly. He died for those who fake reports and dismiss the wounded. He died for the hard-hearted. They qualify for His grace, not because they deserve it, but because His love extends to the very ones who are enemies in their minds through wicked works. So, we ask the Lord to break their hardness, to take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. We ask that the Holy Spirit would bring a deep, convicting sorrow that leads to genuine remorse, apology, and concrete restitution. We pray that God, who sees the idols in the heart, would tear them down so that these people might submit to Him as their true Lord.

As for you, do not let your affliction become a trap of bitterness. What has happened is a grievous injustice, but your life is not defined by this season of suffering. This light affliction, as painful as it is, is but for a moment when weighed against the eternal weight of glory. Do not live now only on the animal plane of existence, where life under the sun is empty and frustrating. Your life is hidden with Christ in God, and when He who is your life shall appear, you will appear with Him in glory. The world may pervert justice for a time, but there is a righteous Judge who will set all things right. Let that truth give you peace that surpasses the world’s broken legal systems.

Let us continue to pray that God would turn this situation around, not just for your vindication and safety, but for the eternal souls of those who are currently walking in darkness. May their empty pursuit of gain become so bitter that they cry out for the living God. May they find that the bread of life alone satisfies, and may their confrontation with this evil become the very thing God uses to draw them to Himself.
