Evil, lack of remorse, hard hearts

Kensem

Beloved of All
Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

Update:
The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after 1,5 month of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We hear your cry for justice and righteousness in this deeply troubling situation, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God. The hardness of heart, lack of remorse, and blatant disregard for human life displayed by those responsible is a grievous sin before the Lord. Their actions, demanding fake reports, threatening eviction over life-threatening conditions, and refusing even basic decency, reveal a spirit of oppression and wickedness that must be confronted in Jesus’ name.

The Word of God declares, "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppression; to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor of my people of their rights" (Isaiah 10:1-2 WEB). What these individuals are doing is not merely negligence; it is active injustice, and the Lord sees it all. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB), and we trust that He will arise on your behalf.

We also rebuke the spirit of deception at work here. The request to falsify an electrical report is not just unethical, it is a direct violation of God’s command: "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor" (Exodus 20:16 WEB). The Lord hates a lying tongue (Proverbs 6:16-19), and those who engage in such deception will not go unpunished. We pray that the fear of God would grip their hearts and that they would repent before it is too late.

Your endurance in this trial is a testament to your faith. You have sought justice through proper channels, documenting the dangers, seeking medical help, and standing firm despite threats. This is commendable. "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9).

Now, we lift this entire situation to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Righteous Judge and Defender of the oppressed. We lift up this situation to You, Lord, and ask that You intervene with Your perfect justice. Break the hardness of heart in these individuals, soften them, convict them, and lead them to repentance. Let them see the gravity of their sins and the harm they have caused. Replace their hearts of stone with hearts of flesh, that they may turn to You in humility and make restitution for the wrongs they have committed.

Lord, we ask that You protect this dear one from further harm, physically, emotionally, and legally. Shield them from the threats and intimidation of those who seek to oppress them. Provide them with wisdom, favor, and the resources they need to navigate this battle. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also pray for the lawyer and the landlord, that their eyes would be opened to the truth. Expose any deception, and let Your light shine into the darkness of their hearts. May they come to know You as Savior and Lord, for there is no other name under heaven by which they must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they refuse to repent, we ask that You bring Your righteous judgment upon them, that justice may prevail.

We declare that this situation will be turned around for Your glory. Let those who have shown no remorse be brought to their knees in humility. Let restitution be made, apologies be given, and compensation be provided, not out of mere obligation, but out of a transformed heart. We trust in You, Lord, for You are a God who executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry (Psalm 146:7).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen this dear one in faith. Remind them that You are their Refuge and Strong Tower (Proverbs 18:10). Let them find rest in You, knowing that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). May they walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The Lord is your Advocate, and He will not abandon you. Continue to walk in integrity, seek wise counsel, and trust in His timing. If legal action is necessary, ask the Lord to provide godly representation and favor in the courts. Remember, "The king’s heart is in the LORD’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). The Lord can turn the hearts of even the most hardened individuals.

If you have not already, consider reaching out to local authorities or housing advocacy groups to report these life-threatening conditions. Your safety, and the safety of others, must come first. The Lord may use these channels to bring about the justice you seek.

Stand firm in faith, and know that we are praying with you. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He will fight for you.

We have been sitting with your updates, and the cruelty you are facing is staggering. You were physically hurt in a place that was supposed to be safe, and instead of care, you received cover-ups, threats, and cold legal demands. When a lawyer writes that you do not deserve “comfort”, as if basic safety were a luxury, that kind of response tells us the hearts involved are indeed operating with a frightening hardness. We are sorry you have been treated this way.

What stands out to us is that you are already out of the apartment and have documented the danger. That was wise and took courage, especially under pressure. Right now, the battle seems to have shifted from the physical danger itself to the ongoing emotional toll of their refusal to acknowledge the truth. That constant denial of reality, trying to make a life-threatening issue sound like a complaint about convenience, can wear a person down and make them question their own perception. Please hear us: you are not wrong to name this as evil. You are not wrong to pursue a just resolution.

For your own peace, one concrete step might be to gather every piece of evidence, photos, medical records, the electrician’s real findings, every letter from the lawyer, into one secure place, both digital and printed. Knowing you have that ready can quiet some of the spinning anxiety when the next threatening message arrives. And when their hardness makes you feel small or forgotten, we hope you can anchor yourself in the truth that your dignity does not depend on their apology. They may never give you what you deserve, but that does not erase the reality of what happened or your worth.

Let us pray now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this child of Yours who has endured real physical harm and deep injustice. Guard their heart from being crushed by the utter lack of remorse they are facing. Please grant them steady clarity and a sense of Your nearness as they navigate these legal threats. While we ask You to break through the hardness in that landlord, the lawyer, and the others involved, we also ask You to give this one the peace that surpasses all understanding. Let truth be upheld, and let them find a safe place to land. Amen.

It is a bitter draught when those who hold power over us, instead of acting with common humanity, display a heart that seems caked with the very iron of callousness. To receive wounds from a peril they will not mend, to hear your cry for safety twisted into a demand for "comfort," to be met with threats when you ask only for a habitable dwelling, this is to taste a cruelty that finds its foul nest in the unsoftened heart of man. The absence of a single pang of remorse, the forging of reports, the blocking of communication: all this betrays a mind sealed up against its fellow and against its God. We read of such that their hearts are as adamant, and the only wonder before such a sight ought to be that our own hearts do not break with the sorrow that mingled with our Master’s anger when He looked upon those whose hearts were hardened. He was softened because of their hardness; He grieved with them because He saw the misery that their obduracy would bring upon them. The hardness you have felt in others ought to drive you not to a hardness of your own, but to plead for them before the throne of grace, even as you cry out for your own deliverance.

There is a repentance that is spurious, a mere qualm of terror when the lash of the law cracks near, a fleeting pang on a bed of sickness that vanishes when the pulse beats strong again. What these blind souls need is not that cowardly remorse that twists the heart but does not turn the life, but a repentance unto life, a godly sorrow that worketh a thorough change. Yet you must remember, such repentance is never found in the soil of our own nature; it is a plant of the heavenly paradise. The text stands fast, that repentance must be preached in the name of Jesus, for He is exalted on high to give repentance and remission of sins. We cannot hammer it out of the granite of the human spirit by threats alone; it is the gift of God, brought forth by a gleam of that goodness which should lead us to repent. And therefore, though your landlord, the contact person, and the lawyer seem now unshakable in their cruel course, despair not of the arm of the Almighty. He who took away the heart of stone and gave a heart of flesh to you can do the same for them. When the Lord Jesus Christ reveals Himself, when the Spirit comes with personal visitation, even the most worldly, the most busy with their scheming, the most proud in their denial of fault, must melt before His glance. We can pray in faith, not with the bitter desire for their ruin, but that they might see the iniquity of their deeds, give glory to God by a true confession, and so escape a weightier judgment.

Yet, Child of God, take heed lest this sore trial foster a root of bitterness within your own bosom. It is a marked temptation, when we are wronged and see no penitence in the wrongdoer, to allow a harsh, vindictive spirit to steal over us, thinking we do God service. But mark how our Lord, even as He looked upon His adversaries with a holy anger, yet wept over them. There is a pathetic togetheredness in His grief: He felt for their coming woe. Follow that pattern. Commit the cause to Him that judgeth righteously. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." Your safety and your just recompense are not forgotten by Him who numbers the very hairs of your head. He who allowed you to encounter these perils will yet make a way, and in the meantime, it is your part to keep your own conscience tender by dwelling much at the foot of the cross. There, and there alone, hearts are made truly soft. When you see how you, who once were hard, were melted by the dying love of Christ, you will begin to have a sacred, aching desire that even those who now treat you so basely might at last be broken in the right place, and saved. True repentance makes no excuses, but gives glory to God. Pray that they would be so stricken by the Spirit that they would own not only their fault before men, but their sin before heaven.

Above all, do not put even your most earnest longings for justice in the place of simple faith in Christ. The repentance that saves is of small account if it be divorced from a look at the crucified One. Your own standing before God is not built upon their apology; it rests upon the finished work of Jesus. Hold fast to that anchor. And as you pray for their submission to the Holy Ghost, know that the goodness of God is still at work, and He can make the last in character the first in repenting. Perhaps, beyond the very prayer for compensation and safe shelter, the Lord intends to win a trophy of His grace from the ranks of these hard-hearted ones, to show that He can break open the ear that is plugged with worldliness and pride. Until that day, may you be kept in perfect peace, your mind stayed on Him. The Lord never plays at comforting His own. He will not suffer your foot to be moved, and in the end, His deliverance will be to you a sweeter hymn of praise than you could now conceive.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The grief you witness is often not repentance, but the world’s sorrow that produces death. Judas felt remorse when his sin was complete, yet he found no place for true change because the devil hurried him away from it too soon, leading him to a more terrible end. So it is not merely a few tears or an apology we must seek, but the deep, unseen work of a contrite heart. When you see a heart of adamant, remember that the Lord knows its hidden caverns; He searches not the air of empty words, but the very mind of the spirit within a person. Therefore, for these who trouble you, pray not simply for their remorse, but for a spiritual heart, one that can be broken before God in a way no human court can compel.

He has stated the law impersonally, and they have hardened themselves against it, becoming past feeling. Yet do not let your heart be troubled by their continued threats and lack of human comfort. For the true hymn is not one sung for display in the marketplace, but is sung to God within the heart, heard by Him alone, even as Moses cried out in silence and was heard. You have cried out from the midst of a life-threatening flood, and He who stilled the terror of the disciples knows every shock and wound you endured. Their lawyer may equate your safety with a luxury, but the Lord has said the laborer is worthy of his hire, and the habitability of a dwelling is a matter of justice, not indulgence. Their demand for fees while you were wounded reveals a mind deeply disturbed, yet He knows the very mind of the spirit, and He will judge the secret counsels of the heart.

So let your own soul bend not toward adamant anger, but toward the meekness that pricks the heart. For the meeker sort, when they see the greatness of their own need for mercy, cleave to the power of repentance all the more. Sing to God with heedfulness in your heart, even as you walk through this trial, no one hearing but Him. For this very suffering, offered in the quiet of your spirit, becomes a sacrifice infinitely more pleasing than the clamor for their punishment. Lay this whole matter before Him who searches hearts, asking that those hearts of stone be made flesh, not by your power, but by the operation of the Holy Spirit’s grace. The turning of a soul from such unscrupulous evil is a work of God’s right hand alone, and the heavenly host give glory for it when one sinner truly submits, not just when one debt is paid.

The things done to you are unjust. To ignore a life-threatening danger, to demand a false report, and to respond to a plea for basic safety with threats of eviction, this is the kind of behavior that comes from a heart that has grown hard. When you see someone equate a life-threatening electrical system with “comfort,” you are looking at a mind that has lost its way, reasoning from a deeply disturbed place within. Our hope is not in their sudden moral awakening on their own, but that God would take hold of those hearts, because the Lord is the one who ponders the heart.

He looks past the words and the legal posturing, right down to the motives. A person can have all the proper legal procedures on their side and still be utterly wrong in their heart. We pray because God has promised to write His law on hearts of flesh, replacing the stone. That is the only thing that will break this kind of hardness. It is not about merely forcing an apology. There is a sorrow of the world that just cries out because of getting caught or facing consequences, and that sorrow leads nowhere but death. What we are asking for is a godly sorrow that produces real change, a repentance that turns away from the old path entirely.

I am praying that God stirs their hearts with a deep, unsettling conviction over their dishonesty, their lack of compassion, and their ruthless actions. True repentance always signifies a change. It means they would stop blocking, stop threatening, and turn to do what is right, offering what is due with respect. May the Lord’s Spirit work on them so that they can no longer sit comfortably with their idols of money, power, or control while ignoring the harm they have caused you. You have done what you can by moving out and standing for the truth; now trust the Lord to be your safety in a situation where human systems have failed. The horse is prepared for battle, but safety comes from the Lord.

In the meantime, do not let the damage they have inflicted settle into your own spirit. May your heart be kept open and guarded by God, not filled with the same poison of bitterness. Let His Spirit work within your heart to bring lasting good, molding your life to the pattern of Jesus, even as you walk through this prolonged trial. We continue to ask that He turn this situation fully around, for His glory and your peace.
