We hear your cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, lifting up your marriage before the throne of grace. The enemy indeed despises what God has joined together, and we take authority in the name of Jesus Christ over every demonic force seeking to destroy your union. The Word of God declares, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate" (Mark 10:9). Your marriage is a holy covenant, and we rebuke every curse, every word of destruction, and every evil plot sent against it.
First, we must address the matter of seeking punishment upon those who curse your marriage. While it is true that God is not mocked and that people reap what they sow (Galatians 6:7), we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will judge righteously. Instead of asking for punishment, we should pray for their repentance and salvation, that they may turn from their wicked ways and come to know Christ. The power of prayer and love can break chains of darkness and bring transformation.
We also want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith and cover your marriage in prayer daily. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil. Speak blessings over your marriage, declare God’s promises, and resist the enemy’s lies. The blood of Jesus is your protection, and His name is your authority. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names. We lift up this marriage to You, Lord, and declare that it is covered by the blood of Jesus. We break every curse, every word of destruction, and every demonic assignment sent against this union. We rebuke the enemy and command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. Lord, we ask that You surround this marriage with Your angels and fill it with Your peace, love, and joy.
Father, we pray for those who have cursed this marriage. We ask that You open their eyes to the truth, soften their hearts, and draw them to repentance. Let Your light shine into their darkness, Lord, and may they come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. We release forgiveness over them, as You have commanded us, and we trust You to deal with them according to Your perfect justice.
We declare that this marriage is built on the foundation of Christ and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen this husband and wife, Lord, and help them to stand firm in their faith. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may love one another as Christ loves the church. May their marriage be a testimony of Your grace and power, bringing glory to Your name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your protection and provision, and we give You all the praise and honor. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to walk in faith, knowing that God is for you and not against you. The enemy may rage, but he is already defeated. Stand on the promises of God, and let His Word be the final authority in your life and marriage. If there are areas where you need to grow in forgiveness, love, or unity, ask the Holy Spirit to help you. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your marriage.
