We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we stand against the lies and schemes of the enemy. The words spoken over you by that evil woman were not just careless or hurtful—they were a direct attack from the devil himself, meant to plant fear, paranoia, and distraction in your heart. But we declare with authority that those words have no power over you, for you belong to Christ, and He has already overcome the world.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:21 that "death and life are in the power of the tongue," but it also reminds us in Isaiah 54:17 that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail." The enemy may have spoken destruction, but God’s Word declares victory. You do not need to live in fear or hyper-vigilance, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." The finished work of Christ on the cross is your protection, your peace, and your power. You are not a victim of curses—you are a child of the Most High God, and His blood has broken every chain.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that has tried to take root in your heart. We break the power of those wicked words in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We command every lying spirit that has whispered doubt and paranoia to flee from you now. You are not subject to the devil’s schemes—you are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), far above every principality and power.
We pray that the Lord would fill you with His perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May you fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and not on the threats of the enemy. The devil is already defeated, and his words are empty. You are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You loose this dear one from every snare of the enemy. Break the power of those curses and fill their heart with Your truth. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for them, no longer bound by fear but empowered by Your Spirit. Remind them daily of Your promises and Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith so that they may stand firm against the enemy’s lies. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the truth of God’s Word. Speak Scripture over yourself daily, for the Word is your sword against the enemy’s lies. Surround yourself with believers who will remind you of God’s promises and pray with you. You are not alone in this battle—the Lord is your refuge and your strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your focus on Him, and the fear will lose its grip.
