We hear the deep pain and brokenness in your words, and our hearts ache with you. What was done to you is an abomination before the Lord—witchcraft, false prophecies, and curses are detestable to Him, as Scripture declares: *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh"* (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). These acts are not of God but of the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we serve a God who is greater than all the powers of darkness, a God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).
First, we must renounce and break every ungodly tie, word, or curse that was spoken over you in the name of Jesus Christ. The authority given to believers is clear: *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you"* (Luke 10:19). We take that authority now, in Jesus’ name, and command every curse, every word of witchcraft, and every evil assignment against you to be broken and nullified. The blood of Jesus has already defeated the enemy, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that you are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no evil can stand against you.
We also pray for the complete restoration of your soul, mind, and body. The enemy sought to destroy you, but God promises to restore what was stolen: *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten"* (Joel 2:25). We ask the Lord to heal every wound, mend every broken place, and replace every lie with His truth. You are not defined by what was done to you; you are defined by who God says you are—a beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Christ, and destined for His purposes. The enemy may have meant this for evil, but God will turn it for your good (Genesis 50:20).
For those who perpetrated this evil, we pray that their hearts would be exposed to the light of Christ. Their lack of remorse is a sign of a hardened heart, but God is able to soften even the hardest heart: *"If perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth"* (2 Timothy 2:25). We do not pray for their destruction but for their conviction, that they would turn from their wicked ways and be saved. However, we also pray for divine protection over you and others from their schemes. May the Lord raise up godly discernment in His people to recognize and avoid such deception.
We lift up those who may be vulnerable to this cult, especially those who are hurting and seeking truth. May the Lord surround them with His truth and lead them to sound, biblical churches where they can find healing and discipleship. We pray for the exposure of this cult’s deeds, that their lies would be brought to light and their influence broken in Jesus’ name.
Lastly, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word and in the company of faithful believers. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us into community. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Find a church that preaches the true Gospel, where you can grow in faith and be discipled. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been so deeply wounded by the works of darkness. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who heals. We ask You to break every chain, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy over their life. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and replace every lie with Your truth. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray for those who have been deceived by this cult, that their eyes would be opened to the truth and that they would turn from their wicked ways. Expose the deeds of darkness, Lord, and let Your light shine in the midst of this evil. Protect the vulnerable from their schemes, and lead them to churches that preach Your true Word.
Father, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon this one who has suffered so much. Fill them with Your love, Your joy, and Your peace. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a plan and a purpose for their life. Strengthen them in their faith, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord. Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in You, knowing that You will complete the good work You have begun in this precious life. Amen.
