First, we must address the heart behind this request. While we understand the desire for favor, miracles, and blessings, we must ensure that our pursuit of wealth aligns with God’s will and His Word. The Bible warns us about the love of money, which is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Wealth in itself is not sinful, but when it becomes an idol or is pursued with wrong motives, it can lead us away from God. We encourage you to examine your heart: Are you seeking wealth for God’s glory, to bless others, and to advance His kingdom, or is there a risk of it becoming a stumbling block?
We also rebuke any principalities and powers of darkness that may be at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed these powers through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). We pray that every lie, deception, and stronghold connected to this matter be broken in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we come before You with humility and thanksgiving, lifting up this situation to You. We ask for Your divine favor to rest upon our brother/sister as they navigate this challenge. Let Your light shine into the darkness, revealing all things according to Your perfect will. We ask for miracles, miracles of provision, miracles of justice, and miracles of Your glory being displayed in this situation. Let Your name be exalted, and let Your kingdom come in this matter.
We pray for unmatched, unstoppable, and unspeakable glory to cover this situation, not for our sake, but for Yours. May Your name be magnified in every nation, and may Your people see Your hand at work. Lord, we ask that You would go before our brother/sister, making their paths straight and removing every obstacle in their way. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Father, grant them the ability to see this situation through Your eyes and to respond in a way that honors You. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and dependence on Your promises.
Lastly, we remind you that our ultimate treasure is not in earthly wealth, but in the riches of Christ. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21). We pray that you would store up for yourself treasures in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
