We join you in standing on the powerful truth of God’s Word, declaring victory over every scheme of the enemy. The Bible assures us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We also affirm that the chains of darkness have no power over those who are in Christ Jesus, for He has set us free indeed (John 8:36). The enemy may devise plans, but the Lord frustrates them, and His purposes will prevail (Proverbs 19:21).
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there are no areas where you may be giving the enemy a foothold. The apostle Paul warns us not to give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27), and James reminds us to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Are there any unconfessed sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or areas of disobedience that could be hindering your full freedom? The Lord desires not only to break chains but to fill you with His Spirit so that you walk in the fullness of His victory.
We also want to gently remind you that while spiritual warfare is real, our focus must remain on Christ and His finished work on the cross. The enemy is already defeated (Colossians 2:15), and our victory is found in Jesus alone. Let us not become so fixated on the enemy that we lose sight of the One who has already triumphed. The Lord goes before you, and His angels are encamped around you (Psalm 34:7), but our confidence must rest in Him, not in our own declarations.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the One through whom we have access to You and the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that in Christ, every chain is broken, and every stronghold is shattered. Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas in our lives where we may have unknowingly given the enemy a foothold. Search our hearts, O God, and know our thoughts; see if there is any wicked way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24).
Father, we submit ourselves fully to You. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit so that we may walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already secured for us. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and not on the schemes of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we stand firm in the armor of God, putting on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Lord, we ask that You would scatter every enemy that rises against us in seven directions, as You have promised. Let Your power go before us, and may we walk in the blessings and purposes You have prepared for us. We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). In all things, we give You the glory, for You alone are worthy.
We pray this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, beloved. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the war. Walk in obedience, keep your heart pure, and trust in His promises. The victory is yours in Christ!
