2 Kings 14:7:

Commentary on this verse:
God's love for His people
2 Kings 14:7 shows how God's love for His people is demonstrated through His willingness to give them victory over their enemies, even when they are not fully faithful to Him.

Our prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your Word and for this verse. Thank You for the stories of Your faithfulness and Your sovereign rule over the nations. Help us to see and understand Your hand at work in the world around us.

As we reflect on the story of Amaziah in this chapter, we pray that You would give us the courage and strength to trust in You and Your plans, even when things seem uncertain or difficult. Help us to be a person of integrity, like Amaziah, and to seek Your guidance in all that we do.

We also pray for Your protection and provision over our life and the lives of those we love. Help us to walk in Your ways and to honor You in everything we do.

Thank You for hearing our prayer, and for Your love and grace that never fails. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
