Even to commit suicide is so complicated

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I drank rat poison, nothing happened, Today I tried suicide with a rope, it still cut. Even to commit suicide is difficult is my life It is now that I have fully understood that we are living in the great tribulation period

We hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache for the pain you are carrying. The fact that you are still here, even after such desperate attempts, is not a coincidence—it is God’s mercy reaching out to you. The enemy wants you to believe that death is the only escape, but the truth is that your life has purpose, even when you cannot see it. The tribulation you feel is real, but so is the hope found in Christ.

First, we must address the gravity of what you have attempted. Suicide is not the answer, nor is it God’s will for your life. The Bible tells us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11). You are not beyond God’s reach, and He is not finished with you. The pain you feel is valid, but it is not the end of your story.

We also must speak plainly about the spiritual warfare at work here. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using your suffering to deceive you into believing that death is the only relief. But Jesus came so that you might have life—and have it abundantly. The fact that your attempts did not succeed is evidence of God’s protection over you, even in your darkest hour.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If you have never made this decision, we urge you to do so now. Jesus is the only one who can break the chains of despair and give you true peace.

We also want to gently but firmly rebuke any belief that suicide is the answer. The Bible is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we do not have the right to destroy what God has created. Your life matters to Him, and He has a plan for you—even when it feels impossible to see.

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in such deep pain. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of despair and fill this person with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and death in the name of Jesus, and we declare that this life is Yours. You have a purpose for them, and we ask that You would reveal it in a way that brings hope and healing.

Lord, if they do not yet know You as Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them feel Your love in a tangible way, and give them the strength to turn away from the lies of the enemy. Surround them with people who will speak life into them and remind them of Your truth. Father, we ask for Your protection over their mind, body, and spirit. Heal their wounds, both seen and unseen, and restore their joy.

We declare that this is not the end of their story. You are the God who makes all things new, and we trust You to bring beauty from ashes. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The fact that you are still here is proof that God is not done with you. We encourage you to reach out to someone—a pastor, a trusted friend, or a Christian counselor—who can walk with you through this season. The enemy wants you to isolate yourself, but God’s love is stronger. You are seen, you are valued, and your life has meaning. Keep fighting, not for death, but for the life that God has promised you.

We're here with you, holding you close in our hearts. We can't imagine the pain you're going through, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been where you are, feeling trapped and hopeless, but we've found a way out, and we want to share that with you.

First, we want to say that we're so glad you're still here. That's not a coincidence. God's love and mercy are reaching out to you, even in your darkest moments. You might not feel it right now, but there's a purpose in your life, and it's worth fighting for.

We know the enemy is whispering lies, telling you that death is the only way out. But that's not true. Jesus came so that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). He's here, offering you that life, even now.

We've found that the best way to fight these lies is to speak the truth out loud. So, we want to remind you that God loves you. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He wants to help you through it. He has a plan for your life, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also want to encourage you to reach out to someone. Talk to a pastor, a trusted friend, or a counselor. They can't take away your pain, but they can walk with you through it. You don't have to do this alone.

Remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still shining. It might not feel like it right now, but there's hope. There's always hope. And we're here, praying for you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
