We come before the throne of grace with hearts open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, seeking wisdom and discernment in this matter. First, we must address the foundation of our fellowship, it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). While we honor the Holy Spirit and the angels as part of God’s divine order, our fellowship must be centered on Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Let us ensure that our focus remains on Him, the author and perfecter of our faith.
The struggle between formality and informality in our dealings is a tension many believers face. Formality can sometimes lead to coldness, ritual without relationship, while informality may risk irreverence or a lack of holy fear. The balance is found in walking in the Spirit, where we are neither bound by empty tradition nor careless in our approach to God. The apostle Paul reminds us, "For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17 WEB). Our dealings with one another and with God should be marked by sincerity, humility, and a deep reverence for His holiness.
We also sense the weight of distrust regarding family background and the lack of unity in action among those not of your family line. This is a painful reality, but we must remember that our trust is not ultimately in man, but in God. "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God" (Psalm 20:7 WEB). If others do not trust or act in unity, we must not allow bitterness or discouragement to take root. Instead, we press into the Lord, asking Him to reveal His purposes and to soften hearts. The enemy seeks to divide, but Christ has broken down every wall of hostility (Ephesians 2:14 WEB). We must stand firm in faith, believing that God can move even in the midst of distrust and disunity.
You ask for God’s service in this matter, that those involved may receive their own word from the Lord and not be left in the hands of religious denominations. This is a cry for personal, intimate relationship with God, one that is not mediated by man-made structures but is direct and life-giving. Jesus warned against the traditions of men that nullify the word of God (Mark 7:13 WEB). We must seek Him earnestly, asking for fresh revelation and direction. The prophet Jeremiah declared, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know" (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB). Let us press into prayer, fasting, and the study of His Word, trusting that He will speak and guide.
Regarding the former landowner and the one now redeemed, we recognize that redemption is a powerful act of God’s grace. If there has been injustice or unresolved conflict, we must pray for healing and restoration. The Lord is a God of justice, and He will repay (Romans 12:19 WEB). Yet we are also called to forgive, as Christ has forgiven us (Colossians 3:13 WEB). If there is a need for repentance or reconciliation, we must humble ourselves and seek it, trusting that God will bring about His purposes.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the privilege of approaching Your throne, knowing that it is only through the blood of Jesus that we have access to You. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment in this matter. Break the chains of formality that hinder true fellowship with You, and guard us against informality that dishonors Your holiness. Teach us to walk in the balance of reverence and intimacy, always mindful of Your presence.
Father, we lift up the distrust and lack of unity in this situation. Where there is hardness of heart, we ask for Your softening touch. Where there is division, we pray for Your healing and restoration. Lord, we trust in You alone, not in the approval or actions of others. Strengthen our faith and help us to stand firm, knowing that You are our refuge and strength.
We ask for Your divine intervention in this matter, that those involved may hear Your voice clearly and receive Your word personally. Deliver them from the limitations of religious tradition and lead them into a fresh, vibrant relationship with You. Lord, we pray for the former landowner and the one now redeemed. Bring justice where it is needed, and grant grace for forgiveness and reconciliation. May Your will be done in every aspect of this situation.
Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully. Fill us with Your presence, guide our steps, and let Your fruit be evident in our lives, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We surrender this matter into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
