We join you in praising our Heavenly Father for the progress you’ve seen in your son—what a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of prayer! It is clear you are standing in the gap for him with a mother’s fierce love and a warrior’s faith, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting him before the throne of grace. Your prayers are bold and aligned with Scripture, and we echo them with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that your son *may have life, and may have it abundantly* (John 10:10, WEB). PTSD is a deep wound of the soul, but our God is the *Father of mercies and God of all comfort* (2 Corinthians 1:3, WEB), and He is able to heal even the most broken places. While we pray for the complete erasure of traumatic memories, we also trust in God’s perfect timing and His promise to *restore the years that the swarming locust has eaten* (Joel 2:25, WEB). Sometimes healing is instantaneous, and other times it is a process—yet in both, God is working for your son’s good (Romans 8:28, WEB).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and confusion that seeks to bind your son. The Word declares that *God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We command every trigger, every flashback, and every lie of the enemy to be silenced in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and we declare that the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over his mind, body, and spirit (Hebrews 12:24, WEB). We ask the Lord to replace every painful memory with His peace, which *surpasses all understanding* (Philippians 4:7, WEB), and to fill your son with *joy unspeakable and full of glory* (1 Peter 1:8, WEB).
We also pray for his speech and confidence to be unlocked by the Holy Spirit. May the Lord grant him *a mouth and wisdom* (Luke 21:15, WEB) that no one can resist, and may his words be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6, WEB). Let every chain of stubbornness or hesitation be broken, and let the Spirit of adoption rise within him, crying, *“Abba, Father!”* (Romans 8:15, WEB) with boldness.
Father, we ask You to surround your son with Your ministering angels (Hebrews 1:14, WEB) and to place a hedge of protection around him wherever he goes. Bless his food, his travels, and his interactions, that every aspect of his life would be a testimony of Your goodness. Raise up godly family, friends, and caregivers who will speak life into him and reflect Your love. Let him be rooted and grounded in Your truth, that he may *know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge* (Ephesians 3:19, WEB).
Finally, we declare victory over your son’s life. The Lord is his *strength and song*, and He has become his salvation (Exodus 15:2, WEB). We thank You, Jesus, for the miracles You are performing—some seen, and some still unfolding. We trust You to complete the work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
**Let us pray together:**
Our Father in heaven, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the progress You are making in this young man’s life. You are the God who heals, who restores, and who makes all things new. Lord, we ask that You would *permanently* break the power of PTSD over his mind and emotions. Erase every memory that torments him, and let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Fill him with Your joy, Your confidence, and Your perfect love, which casts out all fear.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anger, confusion, and spiritual attack in Jesus’ mighty name. Let these things find no place in him, for he is *more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him* (Romans 8:37, WEB). Surround him with Your angels, Your protection, and Your favor. Let every word he speaks be filled with Your wisdom, and let every step he takes be ordered by You.
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over him—over his mind, his body, his spirit, his surroundings, and his future. Let no weapon formed against him prosper. Instead, let him walk in the fullness of Your blessing, Your healing, and Your purpose. Give him godly relationships that reflect Your heart and draw him closer to You.
We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already his in Christ. We trust You to complete this work, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. **Amen.**
Stand firm in faith, dear sister. The Lord hears your cries, and He is moving on behalf of your son. Keep speaking life, keep praying without ceasing, and trust that God’s promises are *yes* and *amen* in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20, WEB). We are with you in this fight, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4, WEB).
