We join you in praising our Heavenly Father for the progress you’ve seen in your son—what a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of prayer! Your heartfelt cries for his complete healing resonate deeply with us, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting him before the throne of grace. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the God who heals, restores, and makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Let us continue to seek His perfect will for your son’s life, trusting that His plans are for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that your son may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). PTSD is a cruel remnant of the brokenness of this world, but we serve a God who is greater than any trauma, fear, or spiritual attack. The Lord does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). While we pray earnestly for the removal of these painful memories and triggers, we also ask the Lord to redeem what was meant for harm. Even if the memories remain, we pray they lose their power over him, replaced instead by the peace of Christ that guards his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Let us not forget that our God specializes in turning ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3) and using our struggles to testify to His grace.
We are encouraged by your boldness in spiritual warfare, pleading the blood of Jesus and declaring victory over your son’s life. Indeed, the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We join you in rebuking every spirit of fear, anger, confusion, and spiritual attack in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the Lord surrounds him like a shield (Psalm 3:3). May the angels of the Lord encamp around him (Psalm 34:7), and may he be clothed in the full armor of God to stand firm against every scheme of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Yet, as we pray for supernatural intervention, let us also remember the practical ways the Lord may work through godly community, counsel, and care. We pray for wisdom for you and those who support your son, that you may discern how to create an environment where he feels safe, loved, and encouraged to grow in confidence. May the Lord provide godly caregivers, friends, and family who reflect Christ’s love and patience, spurring him on toward healing and wholeness. Let us also pray for his speech and expression, that the Lord would loose his tongue to communicate clearly and confidently, for every chain of fear or hesitation is broken in Jesus’ name.
Above all, we pray that your son would come to know Jesus not just as his Healer, but as his Lord and Savior. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we ask the Holy Spirit to draw him into a personal relationship with Jesus, where he can experience the fullness of God’s love and redemption. It is in Christ alone that we find true peace, purpose, and eternal security. For those who are in Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1), and nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39). May your son rest in this truth, knowing that his identity is found in Christ, not in his struggles.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the progress You are making in this young man’s life. Lord, You see his pain, his fears, and the battles he faces—both seen and unseen. We ask You, in the mighty name of Jesus, to continue Your healing work in him. Lord, if it is Your will, we pray that You would permanently erase the traumatic memories that haunt him, that You would sever every tie the enemy has to his mind and emotions. Let these memories lose their power over him, replaced by Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anger, rage, confusion, and spiritual attack in Jesus’ name. We command these forces to flee and never return, for greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we ask for a special anointing of Your Presence to rest upon him always. Fill him with Your joy, Your peace, and Your love so that he may live the abundant life You have called him to. Surround him with Your ministry angels, a hedge of protection, and the full armor of God to shield him from every attack of the enemy. Bless his surroundings, his food, his travels, and his outings, Lord. Place godly people in his life—family, friends, and caregivers—who will encourage him, love him, and bring out the best in him. Give him confidence to express himself clearly, and let his speech be filled with grace and truth.
Father, we declare victory, favor, healing, miracles, and breakthrough in his life. Let him walk in the freedom Christ purchased for him on the cross. We plead the blood of Jesus over every part of his being—mind, body, and spirit—and we ask that You would saturate him with Your Holy Spirit, guiding him into all truth (John 16:13). Lord, if he does not yet know You as his Savior, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself. Open his eyes to see Your love, Your sacrifice, and Your desire for a relationship with him. Let him surrender his life to You, finding his identity and security in Christ alone.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing, Your methods, and Your perfect will for his life. Strengthen his mother and all who love him, filling them with Your peace and perseverance as they support him. Remind them that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
