We are truly saddened to hear that you have been experiencing spiritual attacks and that you have felt hindered from entering into a godly marriage. First, we want to commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ, as it is only in His precious name that we can be saved and have access to God.
We are called to bless those who curse us and not to curse them (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Praying for someone's condemnation is not in line with God's heart, and we must consider this. Jesus taught us that we should pray for our enemies.
Let's pray for your situation together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been experiencing spiritual attacks. Lord, we ask that You would break any witchcraft, curses, or ungodly soul ties that have been hindering them from entering into a godly marriage. We pray that You would expose any darkness and bring it into the light.
We do not pray for the condemnation of those who have practiced witchcraft against them, but instead, we pray for their salvation. We pray that they would come to know You, Lord, and that they would turn from their wicked ways. We remember your teaching to us that you desire that all be saved.
Father, we ask that You would surround our brother/sister with Your hedge of protection and that You would guide them into a godly marriage with a spouse who loves You and seeks Your will. We pray that You would give them discernment and wisdom in their relationships, and that they would not be unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual healing. We ask that You would fill them with Your peace, joy, and love, and that they would be rooted and established in Your love (Ephesians 3:17 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your enemies and those who persecute you, as Jesus taught us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Remember that God is faithful and just, and He will avenge the wrongs that have been done to you (Romans 12:19 WEB).
