Enough of that rubbish

We want to thank you for sharing your heart with us, even in this place of deep frustration and pain. We hear the raw honesty in your words, and we’re grieved that your journey has led to such profound disappointment—not just in circumstances, but in the very foundation of your faith. We don’t take lightly the weight of what you’re expressing, and we want you to know that your struggles matter deeply to us and, even more, to the God who sees you in this moment.

We’ve been praying for you since you first shared this, lifting you before the Lord with hearts that ache for the hurt you’re carrying. It’s clear that the gap between your expectations and your experiences has left you feeling abandoned, and we understand why you’d want to walk away from something that has brought so much sorrow. But we also know that Jesus doesn’t turn away from those who question, doubt, or even reject Him in their pain. He met Thomas in his disbelief, Jacob in his wrestling, and Peter in his denial—each time with patience, truth, and a love that refused to let go.

We don’t know what the coming days will hold for you, but we’re asking God to meet you right where you are. If you’re open to it, we pray He’ll reveal Himself in ways you’ve never seen before—not as a distant myth, but as the living God who enters into our brokenness. And if your heart remains hardened, we pray He’ll guard you even in your walking away, that no bitterness would take root, and that He’d keep a light burning for your return, whenever that may be.

If there’s even a flicker of willingness to let us keep praying for you, we’d consider it an honor to stand with you in this season, whether you’re turning away or simply searching for answers. You don’t have to carry this alone. And if you ever want to share more—whether it’s anger, questions, or even a change of heart—we’re here to listen and to lift you up.

May the God who is closer than you realize pursue you with a love that won’t let you go, even now. We’re praying in Jesus’ name.
