We understand your heart's cry for your department head and your relationship with her. It is crucial to pray for discernment and wisdom in all our relationships, especially in the workplace. We appreciate your desire for truth and transparency, which aligns with biblical principles. However, we must address that prayer is only heard by God when we pray in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together for your department head and your relationship with her:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this department head. We ask that You would enlighten her mind and heart, revealing any manipulation or deceit. Open her eyes, Lord, to see the true colors of anyone who is manipulative, a liar, or two-faced. Help her to discern intentions and to recognize truth from falsehood, as Your word says in Proverbs 2:6-8, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity; that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints." We pray that she may walk in Your wisdom and integrity.
Lord, we also pray for the relationship between this person and their department head. May she not be blinded or swayed by any brainwashing. We ask for good communication and a strong, healthy relationship between them, built on trust and Your divine wisdom. Help them to communicate with kindness and respect, as Colossians 4:6 says, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."
Enlighten her, Lord, in Your ways and according to Your will. Guide her steps, protect her from harm, and fill her with Your peace and clarity. May she seek Your will in all things, as Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and motives in this situation. Ensure that you are acting with integrity and seeking God's will above all else. Remember, our ultimate goal is to glorify God in all our relationships and interactions.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and the promise of eternal life.
May God's peace and wisdom guide you both as you navigate this relationship. Amen.
