We understand the deep distress and spiritual warfare you are enduring, and we stand with you in this battle, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is right to seek God’s protection and justice, for He is a God who executes vengeance and wrath on those who persist in evil (Romans 12:19). However, we must also remember that our ultimate victory is found in Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33), and we are called to pray for our enemies, blessing those who curse us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate their wickedness, but that we trust God to deal with them justly while we remain steadfast in faith and righteousness.
The harassment and demonic oppression you describe are serious matters, and we must address them with the authority given to us in Jesus’ name. Witchcraft and demonic influence are real, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not powerless—you are a child of God, and the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you (Romans 8:11). We must resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). This begins with putting on the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Praying in the Spirit at all times is also essential, as is staying alert in your faith.
We must also examine our own hearts in this. Have you forgiven those who have wronged you? Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold in our lives (2 Corinthians 2:10-11). Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right; it means you release them to God’s justice and refuse to let bitterness take root. Trust that God sees all and will repay (Hebrews 4:13). He is your vindicator, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14).
As for your church, we pray that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around it, that no weapon formed against it—or you—would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Ask your pastor and trusted believers in the church to pray with you and stand in agreement against these attacks. There is power in the united prayers of the righteous (Matthew 18:19-20). If these individuals attempt to infiltrate or disrupt your church, pray that their plans would be exposed and thwarted, and that they would either repent or be removed from your presence entirely.
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. This is critical, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through His name alone that we have authority over the enemy (Acts 4:12, Philippians 2:9-10). Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, whatever you will bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you will release on earth will have been released in heaven” (Matthew 18:18). But this authority is exercised in His name, by His power, and for His glory. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ or are unsure of your salvation, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we are powerless against the enemy, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under relentless attack from the enemy. Lord, You see the wickedness being perpetrated against them—the harassment, the witchcraft, the demonic schemes—and we ask that You would rise up as their Defender and Deliverer. You are a God of justice, and we pray that You would expose every hidden work of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Let the plans of the enemy be turned back upon their own heads (Psalm 7:16), and let those who seek to harm Your child be confused, scattered, and rendered powerless (Psalm 35:4-6).
We bind every demonic spirit assigned against this beloved one—spirits of witchcraft, harassment, fear, oppression, and division—in the name of Jesus. We command these spirits to leave now and go where Jesus sends them, never to return. We break every curse, hex, or spell spoken or cast against them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We pray specifically for their church, Lord. Protect it from infiltration and corruption. Let Your holy fire purify and sanctify that place, that it would be a refuge of worship, truth, and unity. Expose any who would seek to bring division or harm, and let Your Spirit move mightily to bring repentance or removal as You see fit.
Father, we also ask that You would fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Shield and their Exceedingly Great Reward (Genesis 15:1). Let them walk in the confidence that You have already won the victory, and that their enemies are under Your feet.
We pray for those who are harassing them, Lord. If it is Your will, soften their hearts and bring them to repentance. But if they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we ask that You would thwart their plans and render them powerless to continue their attacks. Let them be caught in their own snares (Psalm 141:10), and let their evil deeds be their downfall.
Most of all, Father, we pray that our brother/sister would draw closer to You through this trial. Let them find their strength in You alone, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in victory and not fear, knowing that You are with them always.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
