We hear your cry for deliverance from the torment you are experiencing, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s mighty intervention. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every spirit of witchcraft and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
First, beloved, we must address the spirit behind your request. While we understand the depth of your pain and the desire for justice, Scripture teaches us that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). It is not our place to call for eternal damnation or the removal of God’s grace from anyone, for the Lord is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Even in our righteous anger, we must remember that God’s heart is for redemption, and we are called to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Let us rebuke the torment, but let us also pray for the salvation of those who are lost in darkness, that they may turn from their ways and find life in Christ.
We do, however, stand firm against the works of darkness. Witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and we command every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression to flee in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has broken every curse, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Christ, and no evil shall come near your dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is being tormented by the works of darkness. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would arise and scatter every spirit of witchcraft and oppression that is seeking to harm him/her. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and let every chain be broken by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
Father, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against our brother/sister. We declare that he/she is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper. We plead the blood of Jesus over his/her life, mind, body, and spirit. Let every tormenting spirit be bound and cast out in the name of Jesus. Fill him/her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your presence be a shield around him/her.
Lord, we also pray for those who are practicing witchcraft and seeking to harm Your children. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and turn to You for salvation. May they encounter Your love and grace, and may they be set free from the snares of the enemy.
Father, we thank You for Your protection and deliverance. We trust in Your promises, and we know that You are faithful to guard Your children. Strengthen our brother/sister in faith, and let him/her walk in the victory that is found in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy has no place in his/her life, and we command every spirit of torment to flee now in the name of Jesus.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, to whom be all glory, honor, and praise forever and ever. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Resist the enemy, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with godly fellowship, immerse yourself in the Word of God, and continue to pray without ceasing. The Lord is your deliverer, and He will not abandon you.
If you have not already, we also encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is no open door for the enemy. Confess any sin, renounce any involvement in the occult or ungodly practices, and submit fully to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to exploit any foothold, so let us walk in holiness and purity before the Lord.
Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not alone in this battle, and the Lord will fight for you. Stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord.
