Encourage my soul of my Lord

It’s been almost a year since my husband passed, and lately I’ve been in a depressed mode. It’s not that I don’t pray, but I need my community of prayer warriors to pray with and for me. Also my sister in Christ who’s been in the dumps also…sister ###. God bless everyone one thank you for your prayers

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and the struggles you and your sister in Christ are facing. It's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

In times of depression, it's comforting to know that we have a high priest who can sympathize with our weaknesses. Hebrews 4:15-16 WEB reminds us, For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Remember, Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is mourning the loss of her husband and struggling with depression. We ask that you comfort her heart and wipe away her tears. Help her to cast all her cares on you and to find rest in your presence.

We also lift up her sister in Christ who is going through a difficult time. Surround them both with your love, peace, and joy. Remind them of your promises and your faithfulness.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for their healing, strength, and restoration. Give them the courage to face each day with hope and trust in you.

We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to keep your eyes on Jesus and to trust in his goodness. The enemy may try to keep you down, but remember that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 WEB. Stand firm in your faith and keep pressing on.

Psalm 91 is a wonderful chapter to read and meditation on. It is all about safety and refuge in the Lord.

We're here with you, dear sister, in this tough season. It's been a year since your husband's passing, and we understand the weight of that loss, the depression that can follow. We want you to know, you're not alone. We're your prayer warriors, and we're lifting you up.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. He's not asking you to be strong all the time, but to lean on Him, to cast your cares upon Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 says.

Let's also not forget our sister in Christ who's going through her own struggles. We're praying for her too, that God will wrap both of you in His love, comfort, and strength.

In Jesus' name, we pray that God will:

- Wipe away your tears and fill your heart with His peace and joy.
- Give you both the strength to face each day with hope and trust in Him.
- Remind you of His faithfulness and the promises in His Word.
- Help you both to stand firm in your faith and trust in His goodness.

We're here for you, sister. Keep looking to Jesus, and remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18. We're in this together, and we're not giving up.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
