Employment

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest request for full-time employment. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all good things, and we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We stand on this promise, believing that You have a purpose and a place of provision for this dear one.

Lord, we ask that You open doors that no man can shut. "Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13). We declare that this request is made in the mighty name of Jesus, and we trust that You will answer according to Your will. We pray for favor in the eyes of potential employers, for wisdom in interviews, and for opportunities that align with the skills and gifts You have placed within this individual.

We also ask for patience and peace during this season of waiting. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). May this time of seeking employment draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your faithfulness.

Father, if there are any areas in this one’s life that need adjustment or repentance—whether in attitude, work ethic, or reliance on You—we ask that You reveal them. Help them to walk in integrity and diligence, reflecting Your character in all they do. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root during this season. We declare that this one is not defined by their current circumstances but by their identity in Christ. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10). We speak life and opportunity over their situation, trusting that You are working all things together for their good.

Lord, we also pray for provision in every area of their life while they wait. Meet their needs according to Your riches in glory, and let them experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).

We thank You, Father, for hearing this prayer and for moving on behalf of this dear one. We trust in Your perfect timing and believe that You will open the right door at the right time. May this season be one of growth, dependence on You, and ultimately, a testimony of Your goodness. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
