Employment

Please pray for our family. We have been blindsided with my husband losing his job. It is proving to be very difficult to overcome this, it seems employers do not want to deal with the unemployed...they only want to consider those that are already employed. We have two small children that we need to provide for; not having insurance for them is the scariest. My husband has had two opportunities come up this week both seem to be great options. I want to make sure we go down the path that God wants us on. I also want to request prayers for my husband as he goes through the interview process. Reading over the other prayer request, I can see we are not the only ones in this very scary boat. I will pray for all those who are unemployed/underemployed. Thank you for your prayers.

God of all provision and mercy, I pray for this family this day. Their situation is all too common in this time and this economy. But we stand in faith that Your Word is true. As this door has been closed, we trust You to open another. May You bless and guide this family in all decisions, provide for their needs and strengthen their faith as they travel through this time. Remove their fears and anxiety, as these are tools of satan to weaker their faith and resolve. Send Your showers of blessing upon them, show them clearly the path You would have them follow. In Jesus' name, amen.
