Thank you for bringing your concerns to us today. We are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance.
Let's remember God's promise: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares Yahweh, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB). This verse assures us that God has a purpose and plan for your son.
However, we must also remember that God's ways are above our ways so we must pray according to His will. The Bible says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" Romans 12:2 (WEB). This transformation comes through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
We pray for your son now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this son seeking employment. We ask that You guide him to the right job, a job that aligns with Your will and purpose for his life. We pray that You open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We ask that You give the words to speak and the wisdom to navigate this journey. We rebuke any spirit of unemployment, discouragement, or anxiety. Let this be a time of growth and trust in You. We claim the promise of Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Father, above all, we pray for his spiritual well-being. We pray that he knows Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We pray that he seeks Your will above all else.
Moreover, we pray for his future. We pray that if it is Your will, You provide him with a good Christian spouse, and a marriage that honors You. We pray that all aspects of his life align with Your word.
We pray this all in Jesus' mighty name, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. It is by His name that we are saved. "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" Romans 10:9-10 (WEB).
Stand firm in faith, knowing that God hears our prayers. Continue to seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
