First, we must address something vital: your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures declare, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Him—believing in His death, burial, and resurrection for our sins—that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"there is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without Christ, our prayers lack the power and authority He provides.
Now, let us turn to your requests with the truth of God’s Word as our foundation.
On **employment and provision**, we are reminded that our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we ask (Matthew 6:8). Jesus teaches us to seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, trusting that *"all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). For their desire for marriage, we ask for Your discernment and protection. Prepare them to be a godly spouse, rooted in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit. If there is any ungodly relationship or sinful behavior in their life, expose it and grant them the courage to turn away. Surround them with believers who will encourage them toward holiness and patience as they wait on Your perfect plan.
Break every chain of the enemy—whether doubt, impurity, or worldly influence—and let Your light shine brightly in their life. May they walk in victory, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You began in them (Philippians 1:6).
We rebuke every scheme of the devil against their life, career, and future marriage, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your will be done in their life, for Your glory alone.
